I went to sleep for a tiny bit. Woke up all confused and for some reason, like kind of energized in my body. Remembered the tournament, thought "ah, he probably busted but I will check anyway".

I see he is still in... to bad he didnt hold up KTs vs 73 in the end, and busted in 11th place. But still, very nice effort!

Soooo. Not been updating much lately, but I don't really feel anything worth updating on has happened.

I played my first NL50 FR rush session today, didnt go well. I lost some stacks but truthfully I played awful. Some weird kind of scared "money". Actually I guess I was more scared of getting bashed. Which ended up with me getting myself into bad spots. In short I bashed myself

So I talked to my dear coach and went through a couple of hands. Got confirmed I played awful. But also how to deal with it. At least some of it There is only so much you can cover in a couple of hands.

So I watched a video, and was decided to play another session. To play WELL and to think alot. To try to not to get myself into spots where I lose initiative and find myself in very awkward spots.

That was a success. So I'm feeling very happy with it. I chose to step back down to NL25 though until I find a more comfortable and confident game.

I also realized i am probably better of playing just 3 tables, at least for now. I find my focus is way better, and I find myself in way less awkward spots. Also, I think for motivational reasons, I'm gonna think about what I'd actually want to do with all the money I'm aiming to win. Like Bigniux wants a new car... Not really sure what I would wanna spend it on more then traveling though

So that's it for poker. Tomorrow I'm going on a roadtrip with a girlfriend overday Really looking forward to getting out of town for a bit, if even just for a day

I've also been slightly tilted by my schoolsituation. I had physics (amongst other subjects) and today I decided to drop it. I find myself being superfrustrated for not understanding what the heck I'm supposed to understand... Really is not what my brain is meant to do, nor what it wants to do so everytime I try to study it I end up being a frustrated sad bunny. So whatever, fuck it then. Not gonna torture myself with it when I don't even need it in the end. I'll pick up some other course instead. Happyness first!

So for the time being, I got more time to spend on pokazzz

I was about to recommend to step down a limit to find a more comfortable and confident game, but you said it yourself.

hi vonki, this post made me WOW the thing is that in my first education rush video (btw I think it will be released next week or week after at the latest) I have said two same things that you are saying here and I consider these to be key to beat nl200-400fr rush these are

1) think a lot, always have very deep think process (I also comment how to proceed with thinking during the hand); and
2) do not play more than 3 rush tables because than it is too much action and the quality goes down

at least that is what I found out based on my play. nice to see that we have it similar it also means that you have a shot for nl400 in near future

what sounded most ineteresting was how to proceed with thinking in a hand, actually asked pleno about this few days ago. Even though you might be commenting on NL200 then the thoughprocesses etc should be similar even though ranges and plays may differ part of becoming a great pokerplayer is ability to decide and question what works on my own opponents and not anyway, so it's good practise

From what I've seen I disagree with Pavel that the player seem to be thinking players, most team to be terrible from what I've seen.

Half way through the month... sorta.

I got around 20k hands and the goal of 25k hands will be reached for sure. I do have quite some stuff to do towards the end of the month, my friend has her birthday and we have lots of fun stuff planned. So I might not make 40k, but I will surely aim for it

Tomorrow it's coachingtime again <3 really looking forward to that too. Also got a test tomorrow (maths, booo) so wish me luck...

Might post a graph and some stuff tomorrow, agreed with pleno that I'll look at my graph/cashier once a week, most likely tuesdays. So yea, can't really tell you much right now. I do feel like I'm going in the right direction, and I have tons of motivation
