I know APAT pretty well. It's in Newcastle next right? Thats my home town ♦

I guess you are perhaps a little nervous? There is an amazing restaurant next to the casino called Nandos, if you prefer Italians, El Nino's is next door, get there early, enjoy the atmosphere, get a drink/nice food and calm down.

The structure of APAT's is very good, you have lots of time to wait for hands and I'd recommend playing very tight early on and studying the players on your table, they don't allow professionals to play so there is doubt to be alot of "fishy" players, try and establish who they are and use this to your advantage later.

If you lose a couple of big pots don't panic, the structure is great and you can go for a walk around the casino and get back in the mindframe.

My friend, Maylis Boardman is the TV presenter there. Go find her (the blonde who stands out from a mile) tell her you're my friend and she'll look after you and maybe get you a TV interview which would be really cool, you could even give the pokerstrategy forums a shout out

Its the Welsh APAT Championship thats going on the 25th-26th June, I'll certainly look out for the blond : ) if she comes to wales and any sucsess that comes will all be credited to pockerstratagy. My name is craig jones, as you said you now about the tourniment do you know the number of avarage entrys.

any more advise, peoples week, strong, fake tells. would you hide youre eyes (not that im on tv lol).

I wanted to mention iv played 3 live tornements came 2nd the 1st time i set foot in a casino the second bust out early 3rd time i came third but had 85% of chips by the final table but got destracted
