I suggest that all of you withdraw. If there are no USA players there is no sense in staying on a web site like PokerStars/FulltiltPoker.

Better support the European web sites.

Like i said before im still seeing US players at the ring games on stars

Regarding our money, anywayz...

None of us are American. The site itself is not American so the FBI cannot shut it down I would assume.

It is the American businesses and financials associated with the site who are in trouble because they are based in the States.

Am I wrong?

I hope youre right:)

I just withdrew most of my roll anyway. Left just enough on to play.

It's probably unnecessary but better safe than sorry.

If my picture of how the clients work is true, if they logged in before FBI seized their web sites etc, they can play until they close their clients. Once they close them and open again, they won't be able to do anything.

"If there are no USA players there is no sense in staying on a web site like PokerStars/FulltiltPoker."

even without the yanks pokerstars will still have 8-9 times more players than a euro site, making it far easier to find games of choice with plenty of players.

Well, if they have frozen most bank accounts associated with FTP.... it means our money will be frozen sooner or later too? I'm trying to cash out just to be on the safe side but I'm unable to. :(

I withdrew from FT 1.5k and was insta approved. I'm from Slovakia.

Well, I don't think EU players' money would be in danger because of this all, because FBI nor US government can't stop them from serving non-US players.
!!!BUT!!! this can can start big panic wave of withdrawing. And that can cause big trouble. It's like when there starts a rumor about a healthy bank, that the bank has problems, the bank WILL have problems because people will be uncertain and will withraw moeny. But banks nowadays holds only ~10% in liquidity. I bet the same is with poker rooms because there's no way a 5% of money would be asked to cash out in a single week. Unless something like this happens. Unless they have some other arrangements for situations like this I'm not aware of, I think in few hours they won't be able to proceed withdrawals because of lack of liquidity.

Of course, I might be mistaken

Konkey you are right. The problem though is that the US is attempting to seize all of these Pokersite's assets. If I seize your assets that means you have nothing left.

How they could do this when these sites have lots or most of their profits from players from non-US countries I don't know, but why take the risk?

WOW

Where are you from?
