I suggest that all of you withdraw. If there are no USA players there is no sense in staying on a web site like PokerStars/FulltiltPoker.

Better support the European web sites.

PokerStars is Isle of Man and Full Tilt is Ireland ... I guess the UK isn't European in your eyes?

most of the players on FTP and Pokerstars are from USA

that's what he wanted to say.

I don't know if I agree with that

This is how it goes...
People from all around the world spend money on these sites.
Americans make a case of it and fine these sites let's say 10 billion $.
The question: who pays the bill?
The answer: all of us outside US.
Why should US be the only one that collects the money if they convict them and how it is possible that they pay the fine to US government with the money collected all around the world.
To me this sounds like ease money for US and a nice way to fill up the budget and rob the rest of the world.

Not anymore.

Even without the US players Stars and FTP still seem to be the two biggest sites. I guess we'll have to see if that lasts or not.

The Full Tilt client works fine for me in Canada. An update (mostly language files) installed automatically. There are only about 15K players on the site right now, although I don't know whether that is unusually low.

I had a glance at one micro cash table and there was an American player there.

The cashier window opened up fine. When I clicked Withdrawal, it asked me to confirm my personal info again for some reason. I confirmed it, and then there was a popup saying it couldn't establish a secure connection and advising me to email support@fulltilt.co.uk. (Note that the email address is not a .com any more).

Meanwhile, I emailed Cake Poker support for their official position on this whole business and they said they are not affected and "it's business as usual." I doubt my other site, William Hill, is affected, either.

Amount: $2000.00 (USD)

Your withdrawal has been approved.

Managed to get this through earlier, right after I updated. Wish I had done more now cos now I can't get to withdraw anymore lol. Can't cashout through moneybookers still though. Am from UK.

Gta wait for like 12 more hours till i can try to cashout from stars. Are people from UK getting it through? (moneybookers)

withdrew the funds I had on PS, I tried to withdraw a large part of my roll from FT but got this mesage: "we could not establish a secure connection to the server. click retry to bla bla"

Maybe it's not really important because I'm from EU but better safe then sorry imo.. I'll try to withdraw again later today.
