I think you have to be crazy to buy a $35,000 bankroll from an American player. For that amount of money you could face extradition and criminal charges in the U.S. The American government might not get around to prosecuting you any time soon, but in their current frame of mind they WILL get to you.

I can't comment on this. But that's one big bullshit anyway and they know it.Is just that the people in America are so "smart" that they will let the federals take them freedom.
I had post a video but it had some offensive languege and some pretty strong real talk.
Why don't they close porno sites with .com and .net? Why there is not one on-line casino closed but only poker sites? I think is more then clear who is the criminal here....

OMG!!I see non- U.S. bank accounts also being ceased or is to be ceased or monitored or whatever. Just check from page 40 onwards from this legal notice.
Does this mean now we non- us residents really need to worry about our money too???Is this why they r not letting me and many people withdraw on fulltilt???

Ok i did a mistake by putting it as "held by people arrested".Please read the legal notice this time and comment again. They used these as payment processors for deposit and withdrawal and the bank accounts are not in their name, they r under the names of the companies they were falsely representing and usin them to process our payments.

I think other options, execept MB, work(at least I have seen some ppl saying, around the forums, that they have received their money) but you have to deposit, using these, before you can withdrawal with them.
What the hell is going on! Stars is averaging only a 5k-10k player loss. 232k players and 35k are cash players @ 23:00 tonight. I was expecting a bigger loss. Maybe the loss of US players will be only a small bump on the head for PS and FT. ![]()
If PS is allowed to continue with business as usual then I´m starting to believe that this incedent was overblown.
But lets see what happens next week.
Well, if I were the person responsible for the poker room, experiencing some BIG loss of players due to situation like this, I would do anything to prevent more ppl from panicking.. Manipulating player count would be second thing to do after blocking withdrawals.
But it's just a thought, nobody knows what the real situation is.
I read the indictment carefully, and the DOJ _is_ seeking seizure of international assets all over the world, including bank accounts held in Canadian banks. The indictment also says that, if assets are diminished in value or "commingled" with other assets beyond possibility of disentanglement, compensatory assets will be seized. This means that the funds of non-American players ARE in danger if the total amount collected from American players' funds is less than what the DOJ is asking for.
I recommend that everyone with significant money in Stars or FT accounts pull them out now, even if you are not an American citizen and have done nothing wrong. There is a chance that your funds will be seized as compensatory assets.
@QubaBuba: As a FL player I´ve seen maybe 5-7 less tables than normal. Hard to have fake tables that I can play on.
@Belayd: I think you are Canadian so what does the US do when we Canadians piss them off? They impose tariffs and slow trade between US and Canada.(Wood, Paper, weed laws in Canada as examples) Never have they invaded us for having better and cheaper wood. They would probally do the same to get other nations EU, GB, and isle of Mann to cooperate and hand over assets of Stars/FT giving us a bit of time to run. I would also imagine huge lawsuits against US if they started taking our money.
But who knows! Maybe my house and wife will be taken by the FBI this week because I play at Stars.
Not sure if it helps, but I had sent support@pokerstars.com emails about my account yesterday, and got the message:

Pokerstars is in the Isle of Man, Full Tilt in Ireland, and AP/UB in Costa Rica. I don't know about the latter, but I do know that all British countries have extradition treaties and reciprocity agreements with the United States. The court battles in Britain over extradition and asset seizure might be long and bloody, but asset escrow and foreign arraignment will probably be granted quickly. There is also the possibility that Stars and FT have violated _British_ laws in terms of what they are alleged to have done in the United States. The brief blurb you give a link to seem to suggest that they have.
Hot news cowboys!

Yo yo yo. Yup, 50 bucks, look at the date of my registration. These are still wet from the printer. Anyways, I clicked the "withdraw" button at friday evening (around 22:00 GMT), pretty much instantly after the poo hit the rotor. Weekend later, here we go. It was my first withdrawal and Im from Czech Republic btw. No ID check, no nothing.
Im crossing all my fingers atm, coz the money are still not at my account obviously, but at least it seems the gears are still spinning.
btw: I left $14 at my FTP account and cleared my last day of take2, won 1 dollar lol, so Ill prolly try to bloat my 40 dollars a bit at NL2 there and start an parallel account somewhere else with my withdrawal. Woot, playing two sites now, Im so macho I shit Elezras ♦ ♦
