Villain is VP 19, PR 13 in 31 hands

I attempted a steal and he called. On the flop, I checked, he led out with a bet and it looked like he just wanted me fold away. So I think he was bluffing and thus pushed it all-in.

Players normally overbet the pot to protect, i'd assume his range is mostly strong Jx or two pair and above, sometimes spazzy play with air or flush draw. With his stack size you either fold on the flop or end up all in eventually so if you think he is bluffing then a re-raise is bad. He is 100% pot committed anyway so just flat call and let him bluff all in on the turn. By raising, his pure bluffs will be forced to fold.

I don't mind check/shove on this board. Players bet way too much when checked to - like pretty much most players will bet like 80% of their range in this situation imo (esp at $2).

But yea hand is too strong to fold.

thanks for the comments guys!

my image on the table was already the bully type as I started to became a bit loose because I was the big stack on the table.

the guy actually has pocket Queens, so I didn't think he has a strong hand because of that overbet and because he did not reraise preflop.

i guess i would 1/3 bet the pot to induce more bluffs. but half is also ok from pot 2 stack ratio.
