So your set mining.. You hit it 1 out of 12 times..

Well, actually it is 1:8.5 (1 hit and 7.5 misses). I'm not gonna argue with you about different limits, but in my experience on NL2 and NL5 it's profitable when you use the call20 rule.

Made a mistake (mixing up 1 in 12 and 1 in 8,5).. that's what i meant however. the point was.. It's hard to play oop without initiative. So while limping is very likely profitable it's probably alot harder to call a 5bb raise after limping and it still being profitable. So you basicaly spend 5bb x 8,5 = 42,5bb trying to hit your set. If you strictly set mine then your not going to call any bets. so you lose all those pots basicaly. So you have to win 42,5 bb every time you hit it.. Imo that's just very unlikely to happen.

There's this hand I played yesterday. I was in SB with T9o.

This is from NL5 RUSH.

The villain was a TAG player, I had no idea I did this, I was almost quitting the session and I was bored lol.

I open 3bb, the villain 3bet 3x.

I call.

The board: AA9r

I check. He bets 0,50. Then I instant-shove.

He asks for time.. And says on the chat:

"You lucky bastard, I had KK"

And folds.

I had a great laugh in here, and promissed myself to not make such stupid thing EVER.

Lets keep this thread going guys! Less arguing and more posting hands, could become rather epic!
