Yeah, 2nd CASH!!!! SCOOP-03-H $530+R NLHE
I am seriously doubting if I am gonna continue playing all the scoops. Because of the SM I've got enough money to buy an appartment and still be able to play poker at the stakes I am playing. And if playing all the SCOOP and losing a sh*tload of money means I got to postpone this another month or three I'd rather buy an appartment.
well u seem to be doing ok in the scoop dont u? 2 cashes isn't bad right?
gl in any case ![]()
btw what are the appartment prices in the netherlands? (m2/$)
ummm... arent you freerolling the rest of the scoop now?
[edit] ohhhh you juts cashed those 2 events. i misread and thought you shipped the badugi and came 2nd in the nhle lol!
hmmm, I think playing will be +EV, the variance is the problem though.
Maybe you can get some staking deals so you don't have to risk too much while you can still earn a bit of money and practice those tournaments a bit?
The new idea will be to play in events in which I expect to have an edge with a maximum effective buy-in of $2,100. This means that I will not play any of the bigger buy-ins, inclusive the Main event-H, unless I manage to sell action.
I am not known with any of the people on the English forum, so if you are interested in buying action in any tournament which is now left out (bigger than $2,100, but where I might still have an edge) you can hit me up on skype; pinowwwtje
Amongst the tournaments I am thinking about are;
5k 6max PLO
10k ME
I will not discuss any deals on the forum or in my blog and I will not sell any action in smaller pieces than $500.
Should I not be able to sell any or enough action, or for any other reason I will not play those events, I will still be happy anyways and play all the events that do qualify :). No money will switch hands untill it is 100% sure I will play the event
More than 40k down outside of the SM. WHY THE HELL DOES THIS SHIT ALWAYS HAPPEN AFTER A SHIP
I really don't know why, but I do feel a certain form of pride when I look at the last 90k hand I played PLO:

I believe it might be nearly impossible to run that shitty, also a good pointer why good bankroll management is so important and that downswings do not have to stop after only a couple k of hands

next time you ship, take a week free :).
this just postpones the inevitable downswing
I really need some good luck, so I am planning to sell 0.1% ($2.1) of my 2100$ PLO HU SCOOP today for a 1% return on my total cash in that tournament to anyone who can show he/she runs good. It starts in 70 minutes

I define rungood as running above EV or just being lucky in general. It can be in poker, or just something that happened in real life, like some sort of great thing that happened
I run better (more above EV, more setups in my favour, deep-pots, weeeeeeeee) but my run is balanced by bad-run in RL ♦ So I guess take that Gold dude ♦
A belgian gentlemen posted a huge story in my Dutch blog how he run great in real life, he got the action

Just read it, it's a nice story. Maybe karma does work ^^
Btw, I noticed he opened a blog here as well but I guess he's not going to be too active on that one?
