Almost! Maybe next week.

I think Poker Strategey should try and add Hero Poker. they are a new Merge Skin that only lunched this year at the Aussy Millions and dosent have any afilitite partners.

I guess it's too late now. Merege stops Rakeback for new Accounts at the end of this month, and I can't see PS.com to be fast enough to add one room as Partner...

Hi folks,

we cannot give any details as to potential future partnerships with the Merge network at the moment - if or when we can, you guys will be the first to know :)

There's still 2-3 weeks, but it does look really hopeless.

I don't get it. When most poker sites are slinging out new promotions left and right in order to attract new players and redeposits, why would Merge _discourage_ new members from signing up by ending rakeback for new players.

kinda surprised. merge will stop giving players rakeback in june to new signups. good way to encourage new players to sign up via ps.com

but hey, if you want to miss out on a business oppertunity thats fine. I know a few affiliates personally who are gonna make a few $k outta this easily!

I'm sure PS have their reasons, but it does look odd indeed. Oh well, there's plenty of affiliates out there with decent deals!

They either want to change their VIP program or change their rake setup. If they reduce their rake they certainly don't want to be giving out a flat 35%.

It took a bit longer than I expected, but Merge is finally #6. I imagine once bwin.party guts the OnGame network they will have an easy shot at #5.

Have you ever negotiated a business deal of that type, where lots of money might change hands and it's important to get the terms exactly right? It can take a long time and lots of back-and-forth. Less than one month is just not enough time.

why would people outside of USA even play on merge ?

its just reg infested place without any recreational players, im not even gonna mention cashouts taking more than one month, etc.

Basic economic and trade theory suggest that one of the US-facing poker rooms will become the dominate player in the poker market. Some of us would like to have full rakeback accounts setup on Merge before the deadline passes so that when this happens we are grandfathered in.

It has nothing to do with playing on Merge now. It's a complete freeroll on the future of poker. It costs absolute nothing to create a Merge account now and get in on the 35% rakeback offers.

Between Merge, Cake, Everleaf, and Yatahay ... someone will eventually be challenging bwin.party for the #3 spot. Right now Merge seems to have the best shot considering they will easily move to #5 after the bwin.party player merge is complete.
