Dont think i can face much poker right now.
Stuck in a rut when it comes to these near misses for cashes in the SCOOP.
Its getting beyond a joke.
This has to be hardest period I have had to endure in that regard.
If anyone has some nice words feel free to share.
Did I do something wrong? Do i take a deep breath and jump straight back on SNGS?

Well its Saturday and back to my favourite discipline mixed games.
I have started really late due to having to sort out personal matters.
I managed to sneak in 2 sats for the HORSE L and M......
I bubbled the $39 sat into the M which was really disappointing given there were 3 situations where another player was all in and looking like they were bubbling but managed to survive.
Then when I had the best hand Ax in a 3 way pot in FLHE the board rivers a FH and counterfeits my hand unreal.
Even so I got my entry $ back WITH my tail between my legs feeling a little hard done by.
Won my $6 sat into the Low
So hopefully the SCOOP 36L will have to do ....and I have HIGH HOPES.

Weee Sunday is here again, cup of tea and early start for me.

Having busto again in the SCOOP, not for playing badly, I finished my night off playing some 20 $7 fifty 50 turbos....nice.
Made $$$$ and am really keen to make an early start and put some volume in before my last crack of the whip in the SCOOP.

TBH i wont be so sad seeing the back of the SCOOP for another year given my current climate........after wishing for its arrival I want to knuckle down and get into a routine of rolling out games, sweating hands and some general hard work.

I hope to produce a lovely graph for my blog later and show things are not all bad.

I have had a little change of format in sngs from $7 turbos 50/50 to 180 man $2 turbos.
Not sure the format of the 50/50s allows me to use my ability best.
And it seems I'm right with a cash and a 2nd within my 1st 5 sngs.

Already feels more comfortable so here I go.
Confidence is growing

Been missing from the blog for a couple of weeks due to personal circumstances..

Mrs 74 busting her thumb in a school playground (no kids hurt all day @ school yet a grown woman managed it)
My twins 3rd birthday ....(pocket hurt all day)
And a virus and I'm still suffering.

I did manage to sneak a decent run in the Sunday Kick off $109 on 150k day only to lose a pre flop all in with AKs v AQ v 10/7 for a monster pot (tourney winning stack scenario) AQx flop still it wasnt to be but a cash.

We have the WSOSP running at the moment.
Which I have been keeping close tabs on, what with all the Brit success is heartwarming.
Personally, I had every intention of venturing back to my native North East this week for the UKIPT leg but due to some of the above and a car garage blowing the engine on my car (who are refusing liability) has meant I will have to look to Brighton as my next live outing.
Lets hope I will only have to worry about my passport next yr when I want to fly over stateside for some fuss thats going on over there.

Still, once tomorrow comes I will get down to some playing, refreshed and armed with more knowledge than I had before my last post.
