The point is not that God has names for them, but that he knows them all intimately, despite the fact there are so many.
"Myriad" is also the greek word for 10.000, which means there should be tens of thousands of stars, this however is extremely far from the truth

Myriad is the word I chose to use, not the word in the bible. If you check a dictionary you will see that while one of its meanings is 10k, it can also be used to refer to any extremely large number.
you can't know a star intimitely, and if he's the one who named them all then it's silly to say he knows all their names. You can't deny that this suggests stars being more than hydrogen and helium

By "knowing a star/planet intimately" I simply mean God is aware of every millimetre of his creation, not that his creation is some type of spirit creature. I honestly don't think it means more than that; but perhaps you are correct.

The idea is that Europeans are drifting away from Christianity and embracing paganism. The irony is that 95% of Christians didn't follow bible teachings in the first place (including this guy), so what exactly are they drifting away from?
I think people like this factor strongly in causing the negative stereotype that exists surrounding the bible. His facial expressions and tone of voice suggest to me that he is slightly raving, and frankly I wouldn't trust anything he says.
Doubtless he believes in God, but are his beliefs based on the bible? I will mention just two points - He wears a dog collar and allows people to address him as "father". Matthew 23:8-12 makes it clear that Jesus forbade the use of religious titles such as "father". Also, this guy likely collects a salary for his work, whereas true Christians would follow Matthew 10:7,8 which exclaims, "you received free, give free".
In short, this guy does not represent true Christianity. He represents the large group of people claiming to be Christian yet do not adhere to bible teaching.

Look around you do you see anything out of the ordinary? Talking snakes? Ghosts? Long haired hippies walking on water?
And for your prophetic accuracy I'm sure there are just as many prophecy that did not come true as there are that did. And if one prophecy does not come true then what does that say?

And people have been going on about "end times" since the bible was written. Of course one day humans will probably go extinct especially if we are forever stuck on this planet.
The bible goes against everything that is rational; therefore I hate it. It makes me cringed to think that someone believes that the human race arose from two human beings 6000 years ago when reality says otherwise.
If anything the bible is designed to keep humans ignorant of the natural world and how great it really is.
Also you say you were agnostic atheist up to when you were 20 and then you researched heavily into religion/beliefs and you end up with Christianity? I believe you already wanted to believe that there was a god; that after you die that you continue to exist and that you understand the universe even before you picked up a book and then you connected the dots according to your beliefs.

There is a specific reason for this. I'm not going to waste my time explaining it to you. I simply feel it is "pearls before swine". And strange things do still happen, just not on the same scale.

You also have to admit that you can't actually prove the bible is inaccurate and thus far have demonstrated a very poor knowledge of what it contains.
You may feel it isn't rational, but you will find that whatever we believe in requires a great deal of "faith", even if it's the idea that we appeared after a "big bang".

All you do is post quotes from the bible & false evidence for your religion. No clue how a human being can be ignorant enough to believe that a book/belief system can give them all them all the answers to the universe as the bible does. What did you do your research in an Abbey?

fact is we haven't figured that out yet. that's why we don't pretend to know.
