Steve is unimpressed it seems.
Anyway, for those who might interested, last nights new changes to SNGs really piss me off.
I used to play 45-man SNGs in the old structure $12 and $27, occasionally $38. Already the reduction to $10.85 and $21.70 reduced my hourly somewhat. Now total BI was reduced once more to $10 and there are no 45-man Tourneys with a twenty-some BI!!!! The $30 Tourneys never filled up fast anyway, with that large gap to the next smaller BI, and being the highest BI offered, they will probably die fast. As somebody who made his living grinding these, I feel like my Job was cut!!
I will try the 180s now, but this will result in me producing less Rake per month, so less profit for you and reduced status and therefore rakeback for me. If this doesn't work out for me, I'll have no choice but to move on to Full Tilt or some other Platform.
did anyone notice they changed the structure mostly back to the old one with 1 or 2 more blindlvls?

Yes, structure is the same as it was at 180mans, at 45mans structure is also same as it was but they added 300/150 blind level
Just heard about the changes at pokerstars via this thread. Good idea to post news here imo.
I e-mailed supported asking them to sent someone from stars to discuss the changes with us. here is the response
Hello Wesley,
Thank you for your email regarding recent changes to Sit and Go tournaments. Our forum representatives usually reply to threads frequently, however in the meantime please review the following information about the recent changes which I believe may assist with many queries you may have seen. Significant changes were made to Sit & Go's on May 6th 2011. Two new columns were added to the Sit & Go lobby; 'Speed' and 'Type'. The Speed column tells you if the tournament has a faster blind structure, such as Turbo or Hyper-Turbo. The Type column identifies Fifty50, Knockout, Heads-up, Satellite or any other special tournament type available. The Type column also includes icons identifying tournaments with fewer than seven seats per table. New combinations of tournament type and game speed were made available, and tournaments that were rarely or never played in the past were removed from the lobby to help players find opponents more easily. In direct response to player requests, PokerStars introduced $5 Hyper-Turbo Sit & Go Tournaments for a trial period. The new Hyper-Turbo's feature 500 chip starting stacks and 2-minute levels. These extremely short tournaments are a good match for players who have limited time or like a lot of all-in action and are available in 6 -handed, 9-handed, and Heads-up formats for both No-Limit Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha. Standardized buy-ins were introduced, allowing players to choose from $1, $3, $5, $10, $20, $30, $50, $100, $200, $300, $500, $1000, $2000, and $5000 buy-in tournaments. Not every Sit & Go type was available at every buy-in, but the buy-ins matched player demand for each tournament type. Rake for Sit & Go tournaments was re-evaluated and set to be more consistent. Variations between the rake charged at various tournament/game types were eliminated. Single table Sit & Go’s now charge less rake for tournaments with fewer entrants and tournaments with faster blinds structures. Some rakes have increased and others decreased, but taken as a whole the rake for Sit & Go Tournaments was very slightly decreased. As a result of player feedback following the changes on May 6th, a number of improvements were made. The new structures with 3/6 minutes blinds, which have proven so popular in Fifty50s, were less popular for regular STT and MTT. Therefore, after seeking player feedback, we changed to a modified version of the older structures. The reversion to the modified structures was made over several days, changing 180 player Sit and Go's first, then other multi-table tournaments and finally single table tournaments. As a result of changes to rake, which included lower rake for tournaments with fewer entrants and tournaments with faster blinds structures, there were a number of tournaments with the same buy-in but different rake amounts. Player feedback indicated this could cause confusion in the lobby so PokerStars made the decision to change to a rounded buy-in and include the rake within that buy-in. This has made the lobby much cleaner. As part of this change, the rake percentage was reduced for many micro-stakes tournaments. After further review of the effect of the changes, some additional Sit and Go's were removed, both to clean up the lobby and to help players find opponents more easily. As with the changes to structures, the changes to buy-ins and availability were made over several days at different levels of Sit and Go. The wide scope of the changes and the several days of further updates based on player demand have caused some disruption within the Sit and Go community. PokerStars would like to apologise for any inconvenience to players during this period. However, we firmly believe that our Sit and Go offering has improved as a result of the changes, in large part due to the constructive feedback provided by players. Additional changes are planned in the coming days based on player feedback. All changes in this round are expected to be completed by May 23rd. These changes are to buy-ins, rake and offerings for many Sit & Go tournaments with fewer than 45 entrants. Thank you for playing at PokerStars. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions or comments.
Regards, ... TPokerStars Support Team
So It seems that they are looking at the feedback of there players so maybe it would also be a good idea to give some constructive ( or destructive :P) critisism to pokerstars
Whatever. Steve is ignoring all comments about rake in the 2+2 threads whilst answering loads of questions about everything else to give the illusion that they're actually listening.
So disappointed in Stars right now (and I
Stars).
