But apart from that I felt like i played well, didnt tilt and make any rash decisions, i thought about most marginal hands, trying to put villain on ranges, calculate equity etc.

It was a bit of a weird swingy session tonight that ended with me being up a couple dollars!

Started great, nice couple hands, then a few suck outs that i shrugged off but then my play deteriorated qutie a bit i think - loosened up a bit maybe, or made a few too many double/triple barrels or calling when i knew i was beat - silly things

So i play an SnG just for something different, and i won, so that was $5 profit from that and i thnik it cheers me up enough to start playing well, and some most of my hands held as well which always helps

there was a complete maniac at a couple of my tables, pushing all in pre flop with 77+, which as nice when i had AA haha

Once though he shoved and i had AK, which was well ahead of his range so i called, I completely missed the board and he flipped over 64s and had 2 pair lol

I've got quite a lot of hands to post in the forums, but its pretty late here and i have work tomorrow so ill leave it for when i get back after work.

normally i wouldnt call this but this villain was a COMPLETE maniac and i knew i was miles ahead of his range lol

This was a pretty nice weekend for poker, i went on a pretty nice heater after a week of sessions that ended with me being down.

It was a nice confidence boost as well, although when i post a lot of my hands up, Veriz destroyed some of them haha.

But its ofcourse a great way to learn ho to play in certain spots see which lines are best. I could have saved a lot of money playing hands differently.

The school is helping me a lot too, learning how to apply equity at the tables etc. I'm really enjoying it.

Ill prob play a bit tonight after dinner............

its fucking sick game at times,...

from the start of my session today i was down half a BI and kind of hovered about that mark most of the session, then by playing well i get ack to evens

then this sort of shit starts to happen...........

Veriz's coaching tonight should be good, and im gonna play some freerolls to blow off some steam

So i've moved with NL4 SH play.

SH is where i kind of learnt how to play, it feels more natural to me, and suits my aggressive style better i think

When i moved i have 20BI, which is a little aggressive i guess, but i want to push through the limits to NL25/50 where i can make some decent money, and i feel like my play is fine to do this.

I've almost doubled my starting BR, currently sitting at $90 which is cool, but ofcourse, SH is a bit more swingy so ill have to be on the ball a bit more.

I'm also only 4tabling until i get used to the aggression again, and the general style of play at these tables.

Wish me luck to $100 haha

Ive played about 42K hands, mostly NL2 FR but the past 5K or so its been NL4 SH, which i love.

BUT, my NSDW are heading south and was wondering if anyone knew anything about why this would be happening, its only started since i started SH. Is my play not aggressive enough, too aggro, too loose?

any help would be great!!!!

Don't bother yourself with NSDW at NL2, because you can't force a lot of people on this limit to fold bottom or middle pair, or just draw on turn.

i would bet/fold turn and if ur opponent is passive and has a high WTSD i would blockbet/fold river w/ a 1/3 Pot size bet.

If aggressive I would check and maybe call a bet on the river if I am getting decent odds. but mostly just check fold as we are rarely being bluffed.
