Trader's first event this year, he gave the $25k heads-up a pass since it was the first event and he didn't feel like being in Vegas for so long. Maybe next year.
He's already up to 45k now and has Max Pescatori to his left.
He asked me if I knew anything about the other players on his table, a lady there heard and shot back "tell me something about him, let me see your notes ..."
When I met up with cYde I mentioned his satellite yesterday and he told me more about it. Apparently they started hand for hand play 8 players from the bubble and it took about 4 hours.
On a table he got moved to on the bubble, the floor guy accused them of stalling/softplaying.
he made everyone turn over their cards after the action was over, and one guy who open folded TT from MP, got a 1 round penalty. WTF?? it's the bubble and he had 5bb left and there were quite a few guys with shorter stacks than him considering that the average was 2bb.
Thorsten77 is down to 20k now. He said he lost a 4-bet pot. He 4-bet pre, made a c-bet, checked the turn and check folded the river.

He busted a player with the nut flush vs a straight.
He also won another ~15k pot. On a flush board, villain bet 3k into 12k, he shipped for 26k total and villain folded.
If you guys know your friends played in Day 1A or 1C but I didn't track them.
You can check the Day 2A seat assignments.

Thorsten77 was down to 14k when I went to his table but he doubled up.
BU raised, Thorsten 3-bet QQ from BB with 10.5k behind, BU puts him in and flips over 99 after Thorsten calls.
Two jacks on the board but nothing that hurts Thorsten's hand and he is back to about the starting stack
