Those were some pretty awful hands there. You can't really do anything about your opponents sucking out like that. I do wish you better luck in the future though. =D

i know but FFS why does the software keep helping these donkeys?

just relax, nothing to do with a software. How many hands do you play per day? those suckouts are everyday routines... the best advice I can give - just deal with it.

and please, use hand converter

somewhere betwine 500 and 1500

i'm trying but somehow it seems that i can't get them to work proper

just make sure you play your hand correctly, everything esle doesn`t really matter. with experience you will get used to variance

asuming the board only save the hands i've paid i played 350 today in 3½ hour but most hands where folded so i'll say i've seen 50 - 75 showdowns

You shouldn't have been in the last few hands if you play according to sss. If suck outs start to happen I stick exactly to sss to leave the table when I'm up to 25-30 BB so it saves my bankroll. But sometimes its not very easy to leave the table with ppl throwing money at you with middle pair, so they suck out big ;)

You should leave when you have more then 25BB regardless of your short term sucsesses (or suckouts), simply because you don`t know how to handle middle stack) But you have to wait untill BB comes to you, because you have already paid for the whole round. I guess this is the reason why he stayed (i hope so)))

beting 1$ into 2,5$ pot against 4 opponents on a drawy board is an awfull play)

Yes it's variance, but please stop playing pot limit :P You can't bet a good amount preflop. For the rest it was a nice hand :)

EDIT: I'm blind, bet 2/3-3/4 pot next time and it's ok

okay i'll take up knitting

xylere yeah i know, but you know, no matter how high my bet would have been he wouldn't have folded i was trying to trap

Missed the free play possibility, sorry.
When I play at pokerstrategy affiliated site, I stick exactly to sss. I play also on 3 other sites which accounts I have paid for or collected cash at freerolls or received invitational bonus from. I experiment with ssg variants at those other sites.

And that is a huge mistake, you were traping yourself... I mean, obviously it wouldn`t change anything in this particular hand, but if the next time he will hold flush draw, you will give him right odds to call.

And when you are against 4 players, the probability of FD is quite high. I would bet exactly the pot size here.

Just on that Xylere. If I double up to around 40BB should I still stay and play normal SSS poker until the blinds come around or should I leave?

Well, you can not play normal SSS, because you are middle stack now. This requires some adjustments, for instance, you can call a minraise with pocket pair for a set value, etc.

That`s why you should play only monsters. At the beginning, I would say fold everything except AA, KK, because no matter how you play them (you can just push pre-flop) you will have +EV. With the experience you can start playing hands like AK, QQ, etc.

You can leave, of course, but you will miss the opportunities that you`ve paid for.
