I don't think Hellmuth play the last hand well, as he was for his tournament life, I mean pairs like 33 played like that is not what I have understand so far about strategy.

Am I wrong? :)

No, it was just ridiculous play by him.. i think the best and probably the most obvious play would be to just raise-fold. But calling oop is so bad.

Via PokerNews:

Joseph Cheong and Reza Kashai went to a flop of {K-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs} with 25,000 already in the pot. Kashai moved all in and Cheong insta-called and tabled {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} for flopped middle set.

Kashai was drawing live though holding {K-Spades} {J-Spades} and needed Broadway cards to straighten out. The turn fell {8-Hearts}, giving Kashai more outs.

The river fell {Q-Hearts} putting an exclamation point on Kahsai's elimination. Cheong's quad queens upped his stack to 315,000 and is at least $19,359 richer.

Reza Kashai

Daniel Negreanu was also all in at 2 spots from the bubble.

AQ vs AT on an A 6 x flop. 6 on the turn and Daniel announced that he would settle for a chop. The river blanked and Daniel doubled up

Where is possible to see the chipcount of the Main Event?
I mean the full list with all the participants even the players out.

On the site WSOP.com the chipcounts is only for the first 150 players.

TY :)

Lots more action now the bubble has busted

alph0r just busted for a min cash, he had 15bb and got it in preflop in the SB vs BU.

88 vs KQ. Q on the flop and alph0r was the 649th place finisher

philgruissem played a big hand on the bubble.

Antoine Lellouche opened in CO, SB ca and phil 3-bet in BB with AK. Lellouched folded and villain calld.

Flop K J 5 :h SB donks out 1/2 pot, villain called

Turn 9x villain bets and phil calls

River X villain checks, phil puts her all in for about 150k and villain folded T T

JensKyllonen pretty much doubled up just a while ago, winning a 200k pot with 99 vs A8

ch1ll3dkro3t3 lost more than half his stack in this hand.

villain raised and Lukas called in BB with JJ

Flop A T 7 check check

Turn 8 Lukas bet and villain called

River 9 Lukas lead out again, villain raised and Lukas called villain had QJ for the better straight.

beyne busted out Shannon Shorr in a preflop all in pot, I didn't really catch the action but I think Shorr raised, Beyne 3-bet OOP and Shorr went all in for about 250k, Beyne snap called

KK vs AQ, the board blanks and the played with the second most WSOP entries this year just busted out in his last event.

chip counts of the players who are out is 0

It's not possible to get chipcounts for everyone, if you're not famous, too bad.

It's manually updated so it's just not worth the trouble to track the randoms

philgruissem lost a medium pot vs a shortie QQ vs A8 all in pre for about a 160k pot. 8 on the flop, 8 on the river and villain doubled up.

phil: "I'll get it back"

jenskyllonen lost a pretty big pot (for his stack) with KK.

EP raised, Jens 3-bet in BB, EP called

Flop J:c A:h 6:c Jens bets 41k, villain calls

Turn 9:d check check

River 7:h check check.

Jens turned over his kings first, but villain had AQ

Before the dinner break, voltax also playd a small pot with KK, Vanessa Russo raised, voltax just flatted to induce a squeeee, BU obliged and made it 48k, Russo thought about calling but passed, voltax went all in and BU also folds.

via pokernews:

Max Heinzelmann is now amongst the latest players to have joined the millionaire's club after stacking Warren Fund.

Fund shipped his last 135,000 into the middle before the flop with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, but ran into Heinzelmann's {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Neither hand improved on the board of {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and that was end of the Fund run. Heinzelmann's now up to over 1.1 million in chips.

Btw, the "thunderdome" aka feature table is pretty empty and they are trying to fill up the stands.

Free Miller Lite for anyone who sits down to watch.

yrrsin doubled up earlier. I think PokerNews reported the hand but it was incomplete. Here's the complete one

EP raised (crazy asian guy), Bu called and yrrsin squeezed in SB with JJ (he had about 300k to start), EP called

Flop 8 7 3 :s check check

Turn T:s yrrsin makes a small bet, villain puts him all in and he yrrsin calls. villain had KJo with no spades.

The river bricked and yrrsin picked up the ~600k pot

via pokernews:

Darren Woods opened for 1,700 and Aaron Schaff raised to 4,200 in the small blind. Woods shipped and Schaff called.

Woods: {A-Spades} {8-Spades}
Schaff: {6-Spades} {6-Hearts}

The board ran {10-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {5-Spades} {2-Spades} {A-Clubs} and Woods was eliminated with Schaff's set of sixes.

Sebastian Ruthenberg raised to 16,000 from the button and was called by the big blind. The flop fell {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

"Don't pretend like you have any of that," Ruthenberg's opponent said with a laugh. He checked to Ruthenberg who bet out anyway, firing 17,000. His opponent called and the turn brought the {J-Hearts}. Both players checked and the river came {10-Spades}. His opponent bet out 27,000. Ruthenberg made the call and his opponent turned up {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a rivered pair of tens.

Ruthenberg laughed as he tabled {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of tens as well. The two laughed as the dealer began to chop the pot.

"At least I had a draw!" his opponent said.

"I had a pair draw!" quipped back Ruthenberg. Ruthenberg is now sitting at 1,060,000 in chips.

end of day chip counts:

jenskyllonen 265k

beyne won a huge coinflip at the end for about 1.5 million

"biggest fish I played this tournament, some rich Spanish guy who doesn't care, he doesn't have a clue about poker"

beyne opened AK from UTG and villain 3-bet to 100k.

"usually he just calls but I have AK and I'm not folding against a whale. I can't 4-bet because he will just call"

beyne shoves for about 700k (90bb) and villain calls with 6 6.

"I backdoor the flush and do the Russian Dance. That's the whole story, hope you enjoyed it"

Iteopepe88 also won a big (not as big as beyne's) pot near the end.

UTG raised, BU called and Iteopepe88 called in BB with 6 6.

Flop 6 5 3 check, UTG bets 30k, BU folds and Iteopepe88 calls.

Turn 4 Iteopepe88 check calls 80k

River 4 Iteopepe88 puts in 210k and villain calls and mucks after he sees Iteopepe88's full house.

Villain busted the next hand with AJ vs A2 to another player, before he left, he shouted out, "the river was a miracle" in Iteopepe88's direction.

Iteopepe88: "I don't think he had a 7, he can only have a 7 one way, 77."

gabrielnassif had about 100k chips for the longest time but finally picked up a ton of chips near the end.

one player opened 18k, villain 3-bet 45k, and gabrielnassif went all in for 130k with TT, villain was committed and called with K6s. The board blanked and Gabriel was up to 300k after that.

miamivice was handed a 1 round penalty near the end for exposing his cards. He was in the BB and he thought he had a walk so he turned over A J. But there was a raise in MP so he took his cards back and made the call.

the floor got called and it was ruled that he couldn't do that, and he was given a 1 round penalty.

Ragen (who was railing and talking to miamivice) "So you just accepted it?"
miamivice: "I took it like a man"
Ragen:"You took it like a ruthenboss"
