Here's another hand I'm really proud of. It's against the same guy from "LOL hand of the day". He was a giant spaz fish. Still a pretty light call on the river.

Ok so I just finished my first session at NL200. I just played one table for 2 reasons. Firstly, I always like to just play 1 tables when I first move up a limit in order to get a feel for the general flow and standard bet sizes in the game.
Secondly, there was only 1 table of NL200 running. :f_confused: It was at super low traffic times though so it should be ok. When it's evening time in Europe I think there should be at least 4-6 tables running which should suit me.

So session summary, I ENDED UP WINNING YAY!!!!! I'm pretty proud of this because I made a coupkle of plays at the start of the session that put me down about 140 Euro. I think they were the right plays but the villain just happened to have the hand both times.

I won about 50 Euro, which is a nice comeback, and it's also a good feeling to move up a limit and win your first session. The players don't seem that different from NL100 or even NL50 for that matter.

Also I got 89 Euro rakeback last week. this might not seem like much but seeing as the most tables I played was 4, I feel that's quite sick.

Bankroll: 2196 Euro

Oh hai derrrr.

Its been a few days. I haven't played much poker cause I've been heaps busy with work and girlfriend and the such. It's been a fun few days. Last night I played a little session for an hour or so. I played 1 table of NL100 and 4 tables of NL50 because thats the only games that were running. Not 1 table at Nl200 sucks big time.

just plaed 2 tables of Nl100 for about 45 mins. Won 210 Euro. Pretty sweet. Here's a weird hand at the end of the session.

Normally wthis would be a very easy fold. But these guys are mostly fish that can easily be doing this with a pair and teh flush draw or a set. So it was actually quite a tough fold.

NL200 is NICE

I just played my first true session of NL200. I played 4 Tables and it went pretty well. My reads are still fairly solid on this new limit and I managed to make a few thin river calls which were very juicy. I ended the session about 400 Euro in the green.

I had a fair few interesting hands during the session. Well interesting by my standards. I have noticed that the regulars on NL200 are new to me. I have only seen one or two of them on NL100 and NL50. But they don't seem to be anything special.

I noticed at the start of the session I was very aware of how big the money was. A standard raise was about 5 Euro. Then a standard 3-bet was to about 16 Euro. This big money was slightly off putting but once I got in my groove I did'e even notice and was just thinking in terms of pot % and big blinds. Ezy game.

I'm gonna split this up into a few posts other wise it will be a giant wall of text.

Bankroll: 2701 Euro

So he c-bets the flop on a fairly dry, low board. I feel like this is a good spot to float as he has missed this so often (this is a terrible spot to c-bet imo). So after my float a blank comes off. He checks to me, most likely giving up on the hand. Or going for some pot control.
The river comes down a fairly non-scary card. Then he bets into me. this straightaway looks fairly suspicious. Unless he tried to slowplay a turned set he can't really have improved much since the flop. Also my check back on teh turn looks sooooooo weak, so he could definately be going for some thin value here with a 9 or a 6. Still he could be running a bluff with ace high. So rather than just giving up in this spot I decide to raise teh river which looks super super strong, and all of sudden it makes my check back on the turn look like I'm slowplaying a monster. If he had of called my off here with something like AT or TJ it would have been pretty sick.

This is just a nice hand that I played pretty well. I check-call the flop seeing as its reasonbly dry. I turn teh full house. So now I don't have to worry about the flush. So I decide to check again. It also let's him continue with his bluffs and semi bluffs as well as value bets with over pairs.
River is a big juicy blank. I decide to check again seeing as I'm not gonna get paid off against much other than JJ-AA. And these will usually value bet the river anyway. He may also take a stab with all his missed draws on teh river so I feel a check is teh best play. He does bet and i shove. He tank folds, making me think he did have an overpair. So maybe I did miss some value. I may have just been able to get it in on the flop.

Ok so I realise that this is a very loose call from the blind. the guy is also a fairly tight player, so in retrospect this is a terrible call. lol.
So I flop trips and let him c-bet. I call which looks like a float on this board 100% of the time.
I check teh turn to let him continue c-betting. When I cann here he may put me on an ace high or some pair >55. Which is a pretty nice hand to be repping when ive got close to the nuts. I river quads and other than the fact that it gives me quads, it means that if he does have an over pair, it's almost impossible to fold seeing as I have not repped JJ-AA. So here I either have quads or air/trying to bluff him off a chop. He ends up snap calling with the third nuts. Unlucky for him I double potted all in on teh river lol.

This hand is one of the thin calls I was talking about. I raise in EP with KJ.
I miss the flop and standard C-bet. Get called in 2 places.
Turn comes out and the first guy and I both check. This makes our hands both look super weak and the probs are, except that now I've got some showdown value. So the button makes his steal bet. He would surely realise how weak we are, and bet less/check if he had a real hand.
So the river comes and it's pretty gross. He could easily be stealing on the turn with A3 or A6 or even random Ax hands. So I check to him hoping he checks behind.
He does not comply unortunately and I decide there are enough missed draws in his hands to warrant a call here. I make the call and ship the nickels.

This is an interesting little hand. He goes for a re-steal preflop (I assume, though even if he has a real hand I stil have position and a good hand vs AA) and I call.

Flop is pretty dry. He doesn't bet which makes me suspicious already. QQ? maybe... Also in his range are all resteal hands, sets random 2 high cards.

Turn comes another 2 and he checks again. I'm like wtf dude. Wouldn't you valuebet almost everything on this board. So I just take a little stab and he folds. this hand is just confusing cause I have absolutely no idea what he has here. His range is like 75% of all hands lol.

hand 1, you are repping exactly nothing and i am pretty sure every good reg qould snap you off with any pair

hand 2 nothing to talk about

hand 3 if villains is not a complete stupid spetard fish, i hate calling here preflop, Q8s doesnt play that good, even IP

hand 4 raise bigger pre and imo the best would be to give up on the flop, otherwise, barrel turn

hand 5 with no reads, id say that betting flop and a lot of turn is best, just because villain is giving up a lot here (barreling turn, because most villains c/c here with 66-JJ)

and in the last hand, id fold pre or 3bet if villain is loose and prob bet bigger river, tho not sure

just my oppinion
