Challenge Update nr.4
Hi!
This is my 4th challenge update and I have played 50K hands on NL50!
Here is the graph:
So I had a little downswing and not running much above ev anymore, ran really bad
But then I hit a big upswing the last few days and yesterday I won $460! ♠_biggrin:

Sick downswing! Good job on digging yourself out of it so fast!
When I grow up, I wanna be like you!
very nice blog wish you best of luck
give us some info about your style like how many tables are you playing stake size session time hours played/day etc!
hope you climp that ladder fast!
Hey w4terman! ♦
My style is not too loose preflop about 15/13. Postflop I can get creative and I am very aggresive imo. I guess you could say I'm a TAG.
I have been experimenting with unconventional lines and occasionally overbetting which I didn't use to do alot.
Lately I've been mostly 12 tabling and always sitting with 100bb. My setup is 4 stacks of 3 tables each because currently my monitor is too small to tile without overlap.
I have ordered a 30 inch monitor( ♠_biggrin: ) and a new computer( ♠_cool: ) so once they both get here I will have no problems tiling 12-16 tables with no overlap, which I think is better than stacking tables.
I have never tried shortstacking and am not going to do it ever, because I hate shortstackers! ♠_evil: (btw why are 80% of shortstackers russian?!)
I don't really have a standard session time, sometimes I will play a 2 hour session and sometimes a 6 hour session.
Because I don't have school atm I can play longer than I normally would so I've been playing about 4-5K hands a day which is about 6-7 hours.
I don't really do much of studying poker, except watching alot of strategy videos. Also I like doing sweat sessions with other players and talking about hands.

Well I have to wait for my new computer to get here, without it the monitor doesn't work because this computer can't handle it;)
Challenge Update nr.5
Hey!
I have completed NL50 and have moved up to NL100!
Here are both graphs:
I donked off about 200 on NL100 by making 3 stupid big mistakes which I usually don't make.
Maybe just moving up jitters?
But it seems to be going pretty well other than that.

Do you guys think I should post some hands in this blog to discuss?
Tell me what you think about that.

Yes please.
Great job on the move up the ladder!
Keep it up! If you continue this success on stars, I'll vouch for you to be a pro!
So nice to see these very nice graphs! I wish mine were anything like that!
What are you going to do when you hit the next stair level? Your head is going to hit that text.... You might just have to go back to 25NL...

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q:s, K:d.
UTG1 folds, UTG2 raises to $3.00, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $3.00, MP3 calls $3.00, Hero raises to $14.00, 5 folds, MP3 calls $11.00.
Flop: ($35.5) 2:s, 5:h, 5:s (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets $17.00, MP3 calls $17.00.
Turn: ($69.5) J:d (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets $30.00, MP3 folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.
Final Pot: $69.5.
This hand looked like a good squeeze spot, and his range is capped since he was the 2nd caller. Only hand I might worry about is JJ.
Betsizing is half pot which is the same I would bet if I had a value hand.

Final Pot: $30.5.
This one was against a player who I consider to be pretty good. My value range for checkraising is ofcourse very strong. On top of that, the most likely hands I could have are middle pairs. So that's why his betsizing doesn't make sense at all, since I expect him to know that. It just looks like he wants me out of the hand.

No clue who the second guy is, but Id always bomb T and R w QQ+ as you have correctly figured out i d put u on 66-QQ
nh, pretty awesome spot to bluff
Yeah it's a nice spot^^
I think I would bet smaller than 14 in to 15 to get calls from middle pairs, probably something like 9.
I would think that such a big bet doesn't get called by middle pairs that often.
But still even if he does have QQ or something it would be quite hard to call there:)
