Okay, yesterday and today it's fun, know 1:30... ♦ So last 2 days I had a less downswing, I suppose played some hands over as well on .25/.50, and may I know too much for this limit. This is not the first time when I want to read fish and their lines, but finally I just have to calldown AK high. ♠_biggrin: ♦
I gave myself a shot on .50/1$ again, after so long time.
I won bout 40 BB in 400 hands, so I hope everything will be fine. ♠_cool:
Looking forward to Friday and Saturday, as we're goin' to have 2 party. I need some relax after two week non-stop poker. ![]()
Good luck all!
Nice graph. If this is 6 max, I wouldn't say your VPIP was too high at all.
BTW I hope high stakes limit doesn't disappear before you get there - I was looking in the Stars lobby the other day and there were only like 2 games 15/30 +

Ty, It's 6max of course.
High stakes is just a dream, my main target is to make enough money to live well, so make 1-2k $/month.![]()

Great blog, do you mix NL and FL? why? How much has been your deepest downsing?
regards
Ty, I don't mix FL and NL so often but when I feel I'm a little deconcentrated or just wanna get some other action and want to overlay the table after many suckout in FL, to fuckin' fish, just play some NL, you know. ♦
Deeeeeeeepest downswing was about 400 BB FL2/4$ in April-May. It was only breakeven 2 month with cashback. I was not ready for that limit but I felt I beat 1/2 and lower stakes, and had a comfortable bankroll so tried to become winner regular. I mainly played 6 tables that limit as well which was pretty -EV, and tried to reach Supernova this year on Stars but it seems after FTP-busto It's going to be made only next year. ![]()
Never mind, keep playing and crushing! ♠_cool:

raise preflop or fold, as played check/raise flop. As played, its very spewy to bet or raise the river. just check/call on that board. you're actually representing a hand that beats you since you check raised the turn and you loose to all 4x and 5x. he won't raise you with a straight or overpair on a double paired board.

@MonkeySam:
As for the hand, yes pre I should 3bet, but 33 oop after flop not so good.
IMO flop and turn is standard, villain was spewy short-stack fish, overplayed over pairs and sometimes bet/3bet AKo high on the turn without and draws so my read was good.
Only mistake is the river, as there only left about 2.5-3 BB stack so I wanted to bust him. Yes now I'd only bet/call the river, I could not actually play bet/fold against a maniac idiot who may suppose his ahead with Ace high on 5544x and value-bet the river IP.
Thanks for visiting!
preflop is definitely a mistake. consider that you're giving yourself about 3:1 odds to call & play the guessing game with a weak PP. the BB will get excellent odds to continue and his range will have a ton of equity against your hand. raising gets him to fold, creates dead money, and allows you to play heads up against a spazy player.
given that his raise is in late position its more likely to be weak and you probably have an equity edge. You only need about 48% equity to isolate 3-bet here because it'll tend to create dead money. small pairs are more likely to win unimproved in a heads up pot. getting ~3:1 odds isnt enough to set mine OOP against weak ranges that will be less likely to give action than strong ranges.
i also think you're still better off just fast playing your boat here. bottom boat is much easier to counterfeit. Most hands in his range that improves to beat trip 5s on this flop also improves to beat bottom boat as well. If he has a 5 then you'll give yourself the chance to get max value, and given your read that he's spazy he may easily overplay other hands which is also good for us.
slowplaying the flop and bet/calling the river are inconsistent ideas. your river bet assumes that he would spew overpairs but not bet them himself... but you still slowplay the flop against a player you expect to spew.
leading the river gives him a chance to raise all better hands when we can't fold. his range of worse made hands that cap the turn likely bet the river anyways. let him value town himself while avoiding his raise with better hands.
:O 400 bb?!?! wtf?
You are right, sometime i saw to Tpiranha waiting, alone, at the tables of 100/200 ♦ ♦ The high stakes are so quiettt sometimes, but this guy ( SNE) one night, in 30 mins, go to home with around 4600 usd, four tables of 10/20, amazing!!
