[Closed] Top set AAA on flop, flush card on turn and "straight-flush" on river

This wasn't an option. Had a bunch of loose-passives in the table. All I was going to do was build a big pot OOP and, without a FD or set, I could do nothing. It is insane in ipoker.

If you 3bet, I don't think position matters anymore that much. As it will be multiway pot, no one is going to bluff. Those who hit, get the money in.

You will have great flops quite often. Let's assume that 2 opponents will call, and their range is any4. Pot is about $5,60 and you have under a pot left with some opponents, and 2 pots with CO. I would assume that he has pocket pairs in his range a lot if he is loose-passive, so your equity goes even higher. But against 2 xxxx hands you will flop at least 40% equity at almost 70% of flops!

If you totally miss the flop, it's like 567ss, you can just fold.

I would 3bet this and then pot when ever I hit, or the flop is like 336. Yeah, it's a high variance, but against short stacks it's definitely +EV, and I am sure it's +EV against CO too with all the extra money in pot.

If you had AAxx I would just call, but that pair of tens and a flush draw makes it that much better.

Its theoretically sound, but I don't know man... I am very conservative about 3-betting AAxx OOP with so many crazy guys at the table. I understand what you say, I know this theory, but still...

Maybe it is selective memory of the bad beats I had when I did what you say. ♠_confused:

AATTs is a monster multiway, especially if everyone is going to call. Of course if you can't afford the variance of doing this then you probably need to move down. Being a winning player at PLO involves squeezing in spots like this where it is clearly the best EV play. It is probably your conservative style right here that is costing you more money than any other aspect of your play.
