Im a spanish member.

First of all, I dont speak english very well..

So... Due to spanish regulation Im going to travel england to follow playing poker. :)

Im thinking about going liverpool or Belfast but I have some questions.

1. Is belfast a good place to live?
2- Is there much crime?

In liverpool, I want to live near from the airport or not far.

1- What neighborhoods are good to live value for money?

dont mind live outside of the city.

Thankssss!!!!! :)

no you dont

Wouldn't it be better to move (if you're moving allready) to a cheaper country where you can live a more luxurious life with your poker earnings.. england is not the cheapest of countries by my experience.

I live in Liverpool and I will be honest it isn't the best place to be for poker.

As for residence it all depends on how much you would like to spend to buy a house or how much per month to rent one, if you are interested I might be able to sort you out a place to live depending on your budget as I am a property developer / landlord.

Thanks

IMO Gibraltar is the way to go if you want English speaking, Spanish climate and no taxes

Plus PokerStrategy is there

Liverpool and Belfast are not two of the best places to want to live, Dublin and London would make a bit more sense.

This is a stereotype, obviously.

Whichever city you go to in the UK there are good areas and bad areas, and Merseyside will be no different. What you really need is someone from that area to tell you the areas to avoid. It seems to me to be a vibrant city with plenty going on. I would choose it over Belfast. Actually if I spoke Spanish fluently I would be tempted by South America but that's just me. I reckon the UK is a pretty good place to live as well.

Anyone know another place with a good airport with cheap rents?

I may be biased here after living there for 3 years, but I find Newcastle to be an amazing place to live. It's generally a very friendly place and the Geordie natives are all very friendly. It's also cheap to go out and the rent can be quite cheap as well. There are a few places to avoid though, Fenham and Byker areas are generally pretty rough. But if you go to Jesmond or Heaton there's a lot of students there which is nice :)
