Ah I should have really updated the blog already. I ran it back up to 15 dollars, withdrew it as a I hate the software and ended up on Poker stars. Tried a turbo tournament and quickly lost winnings because of the nature of them to get a seat to the sunday million. If I'd of known what they were like I wouldn't have bothered.

Anyway, knowing that winning a turbo was out of my control with the coin toss AIs everyround I just thought to myself I'll deposit again and recoup the losses.

I did manage to get signed up with rakeback, which means I'm going to have to play at william hill again at some point to get strategy points as I would rather rakeback than view the articles etc as I already have good sources for information plus tons of books.

Got all harrington books, A friend let me read his copy of baluga whales ebooks when I was at his house (they are short, like 130 pages long altogether or something). About 100-120 deuces cracked videos, and hopefully the silver content here as well.

heh nice! currently up $2 after about 500 hands myself, was up $4 but a few hands missed some draws so the payments to see the cards come added up I suppose.

Still, any profit is good profit. Looking to play another 500-1000 hands today, should go good hopefully

just to update ya, finally a wicked session where I was making good reads and applying pressure to my opponents, I won around $6 in 30 mins. Hands hit, and I manage to build pots where I was favourite vs draws and lower pairs ;D Not hopefully I can keep this up ey! ♦

Glad to hear that, although it always feels great to have winning session I think we have to review the play more than the results always obv.

Still have not done my hand reviews from yesterday. Hope to set aside some time for that today.

The next hand was kinda funny, villain was playing all kinds of trash and I had enough by this point. when he bets flop there's not much left of his stack so he's committed and I think I am ahead and jam.

When he flipped over K2o I wanted to wring his neck, I got lucky on this occasion but this is the kind of player who calls you with trash and hits every now and again. So it swings in round abouts.

Some elements of BSS play keep cropping up for me, such as calling OOP with good pot odds and PP and also floating flop and checking out turn. I think it's fine for BSS but not sure I should be doing this with smaller stack;

I don't know if you have noticed but your betting size depends on the strength of your hand. Atleast it's well shown here:

You limp with mid-low pairs and limp with something weak. You raise 5 times the big blind when you hold something. I don't think most at that stakes would notice, but I would ;P

Also, it's good practice not to limp in too much due to it not working very well as you go up in stakes. I think limping turns into more of a hidden gem the higher stakes you go up.

I usually mark someone as extremely fishy if they limp alot ;P

Might be that you don't do it often, or you intend on doing it. I raise everything, but I think I have an issue with letting my connected suited cards go, even if its 23s LoL

Hey mate thanks for the feedback - most of the hands I post are ones that I have deviated a little from Tight MSS play - ie. calling when I think the price is good or raising a hand that I would not usually. Bet size - when I play BSS SH I raise everything 3bb - I have been thinking of upping this to 3.5bb but the point is that is gives me a wider range and makes it harder to put me on a hand.

With MSS, Everything is raised 4bb with the exception to steals - I think in the examples given I am calling 3bb raises and not raising different amounts myself. But thanks for the feedback actually I'll keep an eye on this.

Not put much volume in since I last played - I think near 200 hands and half a BI up. SO BR is $31.20 which is 39BIs for MSS @ NL2. I will follow up with my BSS SH details in the next week since I have awkward shifts this coming week.

I had a look at the MSS Beginners quiz and feel that if you have not already you should take it and discuss the feedback in the Quiz feedback forum since this can only help test your knowledge and develop your game. The quiz was standard enough although there was a spot I was not sure I agreed with and would like other's opinions on this;
