Looking at your graph, what you do is if you hit your hand, you play it and win, if you don't hit it on flop you just throw it away? I thought that you could, pull off more bluffs in those limits, improving your non showdown winnings that way.

Depends which graph you mean. This is my latest one from few post ago and my non-SD is perfectly fine.
I don't play ABC-poker, ABC-poker will stop work at NL10 or NL25. You cannot be a crushing player.
hey man just finish reading ur blog and really liked it as im trying to move up as well!
Was just wondering what do you actually do when u "study" poker?
Im more of a SnG/mtt fish trying to do cash games and adjusting my play accordingly..
nice blog tho, will keep reading on!

Books, videos and posting hand history helps. I eventually invested some money into private coaching because sometimes books/videos aren't enough.
hey! very nice results you got there! ![]()
About BRM.. Its very individual thing.. for me its a bit different. I have played with 40 BI BRM. And its cool - everything is just nice, but I seem to be more focused when I play with lower brm. at FTP I was playing 10 BI BRM, which involved alot of moving up and down. And we all know what happenend. Now I am playing 20 BI brm, couse well 10 BI brm is a bit crazy ♦ 20 BI BRM is good for me, but when Ill start to play NL100, I will start to increase number of BIs needed, but at at micros its totally ok, if you dont tilt and if you are ok with quite big BR swings (%-wise of BR)
I also do 20to25. When you are confident about your game it's perfecly possible. You should play NL50 now:) You will crush it.

He should do that only when he feels like it. If only 60 BIs make him feel like taking shot. So be it. If he hears something like "Ohh I took shoot with 20 BI", that doesnt means that it will work for him. Thats why its so individual.
That's why I said: ''When you are confident about your game it's perfecly possible.'''
In my opinion he should.
Sorry for the late replies. It seems the activity has grown somewhat lately, I'll try to explain some hands and hopefully they will help in the future.
@sufix645: thats totally correct. On NL25 where the money "seems" bigger than NL5/10 for me it was hard to play with a small BRM due I'm afraid that I lose etc... Now with almost $3000 I don't even care that I lose once, twice or three times FH vs Quads (which happend today LOL). If you have problems playing looser on, BRM might be one of the problems.
@EmmaDauwe: I'm quite confident about my game, the biggest worry is that NL25 doesn't have many thinking regs while NL50 does, so some weird actions of mine might backfire. But we still have to try ofcourse ![]()
Today's 93min session:
Spoiler

Overall: did pretty well postflop, won some nice pots by adjusting correctly vs aggr and non-aggr opponents.

Villain is a fish. I think a thin river value bet is mandatory here. In the end we're talking about a whopping 26bb! Despite the board being ultra drawy with connectors and 3 hearts, no aggression from the fish (we IP) means a little lower chance that he hit the nuts. We don't beat much except KQ/QJ/Q8 which is included in his range for sure, therefor a thin value river bet.

Long live the BU position! They both checked on flop and turn, so they rarely have aces. The turn call looks like he had something marginal or going for a draw, so I fire river bet.

ohh, sorry, my bad![]()
I'm probably done for this month. Will be re-reading some NL50/100 books so I start NL50 soon hopefully but school is also going to start so I'm not sure about how busy I am. I invested a lot of time to finally able to crush NL25, I will do the same for NL50 but need to find the right time/IRL ratio.

wow, congratz dude! this is inspiring!
i'm struggling to learn SH and move up the stakes.
my main problem is how to increase non-SD winnings.
could i add you up in skype and care to chat? hehe

It took me awhile to fix the non-SD which was my biggest problem to be a good winning/crushing player. Its not easy, I would say try playing less tables first.
About chat, I don't have the time. I haven't play any poker this week due internship and studies. Looks like I'll only be having some time in the weekend. I'll add you on skype this weekend or next depending how busy I am.
Edit: I also have to change my blog somehow, its been exactly one year since I started and I managed to get a bankroll of about $4000 including all rakeback/bonuses. Atm I have $2500 and cashed out the rest so thats 50 stacks for NL50 --> GOAL COMPLETED.
Finally had time and mindset for poker again. First session after 2 weeks due work/school. Funny was I couldn't handle the "speed" anymore of playing 8-tables, so I played 6-7 instead ![]()
Weird feeling because I had a 4BI above EV upswing. I still think I played alright, I shouldn't get too cocky vs some thinking players and unknowns. My red-line is moving very great lately, results are just a variable, red-line is most important.

Villain is a thinking aggressive regular. No 4-betting showed me he didn't had JJ+ / AK ins his range which narrowed his range to pocket tens and sevens. Since he is aggressive I went for c/c other streets pretending that I have JJ-QQ. Looks like he wanted me to fold them, exactly my plan.
Played about 4k hands for the past two days. Still very busy with IRL. Maybe this fucked my up poker as well. I feel that I'm not playing my A-game for the past few days. I don't feel the crushing power I had last month. Doing too many weird stuffs, This needs a fix asap.
This month so far, only 4.7k hands:
Spoiler

Too lazy (and pissed) to post some hands, will do 'em later (or never)
Hello! Can't believe I actually missed out on this blog somehow. I play the same limit, same site, so we have prolly met before. I have some questions I'd like to ask ya, over skype. I'll add ya in the community tool and I'd apreciate if we could exchange skype there. Thanks in advance!
Keep crushing man! ♠_cool:
@Gregor: Added you on skype ![]()
Edit: Holy shit took me 20 minutes posting this crap, uploading graphs, changing my topic title. If I don't see any activity/suggestions here I'll use my time to play/improve poker instead.
Played 3k hands more. Still having slightly, just slightly issues controlling my emotion/tilt vs those damned maniacs. Weekend was quite swingy. I still feel that I'm not playing my A-game. I'm somewhere at B+ game.
Month so faR:

Villain is a semi-aggressive fish. Std cbet for value+range check. He didn't raise so I put him on something marginal or/and a draw. Turn play I was unsure. We aren't beating many hands but I think we have the equity towards the hands we do beat. So in order to make sure I beat a bigger part of his hands I wanted him to shove and hope river is not a scary card.
