Well, Dutch food sucks. Or should I say European food sucks. Or maybe just that the poor man has absolutely no choice and variety in his choice of food. I have been eating sandwiches almost every single day for majority of my meals which is depressing. Can't find cheap food anywhere else.
I tried my luck finding a Chinese restaurant yesterday. The first was frickin expensive. Obviously Chinese food is foreign in Europe so they will charge super high prices. When I first entered the staff were kind of unfriendly, maybe they saw me as a poor boy who cant afford their stuff.
At the shop right next to the Chinese restaurant, I saw 2 Chinese ladies. It looked significantly worse in terms of standard so I happily entered the shop, hoping for a cheap 5 EUR chinese meal. I saw them eating noodles but when I asked for some Chinese food they said they only sold Western food.
There are chinese-indonesian restaurants. But im' sure the dishes are not familiar with u. Basically you can order [main dish (meat or vegeatbles] and for 25 pence you get white rice or bami goreng
Main dish costs like 6-7euro take-away and well serves for 2-3 days.
Cheap food? well we have the fast food that is ''cheap'' then you have a big jump to the 8-10euro mark what is considered restaurant food. I'm sure student cities have student cafe's hence cheaper things
Natural Refrigerator
Since it's cold here do you guys think it's possible to just buy Milk or Juice or some other perishable snack and place it next to the window, hoping it doesn't spoil? My room is a little warm and I don't think I turned on the heater at any point.

Start of session was a disaster, getting raped in all spots, esp the multiple HU matches I was involved in (about 5 tables vs 3 guys). So many 2/3 barrels failed, 4bet bluffs were getting shoved on almost every time. Even 3b/5b KJo vs someone who 4bets 50% (17% range) and got caught by AKo (though flatting is probably the better play but I was in SB vs BU so watever).
I think I'm getting the hang of 24 tabling again, even when I play some HU tables too. Used to be auto piloting mostly in 2010, and in 2011 I was constantly timing out cos I was very unused to playing after so long. For some reason it seems easier to 24 table on my laptop.
1) This villain did a min5b bluff 200bb deep and I min6b bluffed him and told him it was a pretty obvious bluff for him. he then min5b me again w AK and I got it in w 99 100bb, then i told him he didn't have to bother balancing it just to prove to me he was balanced. so that's all for the history of this hand.
Now, given that dynamic, I was pretty sure I was fucked on the river, cos he was going to use that dynamic to go for max value. I'm probably good only 20-25% and I need 45%. maybe he's going for some insane thin value with AT but I have 2 blockers anyway and somehow deep inside me I didn't want to fold the top of my range (a boat would be the top but AA is next). 7X would be even better in this spot cos I block 77 and 78.
I even snap c/c the turn to try repping strength (by doing a reverse timing tell to act weak) but upon reflection I think no marginal hand would ever snap c/c turn vs an overbet so I guess I told him I'm going nowhere. I'm mostly telling him I have overpairs and boats so probably should fold river.

Yesterday
Decided to play 40bb for one hour yesterday, to be an annoying prick at the tables. One of the regs asked me why I moved over to the Dark Side. After the 1h mark I just started playing with full stacks instead.
Suddenly 40bb idiots from Spain and Russia started spawning everywhere at the tables and I had to battle it out vs them. They like to play tight in early position and steal super wide from BU/SB.
Must be my retribution for playing 40bb...

4 hours of NL1000 SH, mostly 4-6 tabling
Saddened by the huge downswing at the start but started luckboxing in most preflop spots. Had so much value with AA and KK even cracked AA once.

E.g. I have KQ, i wanted to fold already vs philshaw's 3bet. Then the casters said "well I could see him 3bet/folding here" so I listened to their advice and shipped it in. Ran into AQ and got crippled pretty badly with 1300 chips left.
Which caused me to be short-stacked. So when I was in UTG 6handed with about 4+BB left (blinds were 100/200), I was forced to ship J3s or die from getting blinded out. TwiceT snapped with AK and despite the favourable 326s flop, I was rivered by the King
