1st blog ever! sorry if its not well presentd but ill take any criticism with open heart 
I normaly just read but I think writing this would be good motivation to keep my head in the game!
My name is Aik and Im fron the far enchanted land of New Zealand where hobbits and mystical elves live.O and David Tua too.Im 26 this year and only started playing poker about 2 years and have been hooked ever since.I was originaly from Malaysia and have been in kiwiland 10 years now.
Well when I first started,like many i knew the basic hand ranking etc.I found out from a good friend of mine that theres poker game running at the local casino ($2/$3 and $5/$5) , which got me interested and like a child got shown a new toy for the 1st time i got myself there and wanted to play.The very first hand i got when i sat down was Qs-Js and since i only bought in for $50 on the small table i was like omg2facecard all in! Obviously this reg there looked at me and sized me up and called with his Ad-9d and i hit trips on the turn .My emotions went high! I shall cut the story short and you probably know that I left the casino empty handed.
So as I am a person acustomed to being a winner,i put my heart and head down to want to try improve my game.I would go to the library and get all the self help book i can get my hand on(super system1,2,Negreanu holdem,David slansky's series,Dan harringtons series etc.) and Slowly but surely my game have improved a little.But I would have a major leak in my game..blackjack,caribean stud and rouletteI would win like $1000 or so in a good day and couldnt help but go down to the table games and play and lose a big chunk of the profit putting me on semi tilt,and going back the hext day playing poker like a fish..
Well thats why i have decided to try to be discipline and try grind a bankroll online up.I started off signing up to all sites trying to play freeroll and build a bankroll(chris ferguson 10k challenge style),I got a couple cent here adn there but couldnt build it up.That was until I managed to turn a $0.55 from a freeroll on UB into $800+ playing and shipping some tournaments.I was estatic but as u guys know , UB happened to went bankrupt and my BR was gone along

Basicaly from here on Im gonna start playing cash games mainly (maybe the side daily tournaments) and for the 1st time ever try grind bankroll using cash game .This would be a new experience for me and so far Im doing ok.
As im not using HUD or programme whatsover at the moment I have to put notes and record stats manualy..have some problem trying to install Elephant on this old pc of mine .

As aline with the Pokerstars August promotioon Im trying to hit Platinum this month,so im playing about 2-3k hands per day (10-16 tabling) playing straight ABC unless i got some notes on villian.Thats the best I could do without any poker software,but will try get my hands on one when i can afford it
Goals :
Achieve Platinum VIP level by September
Be starting Playing NL5 during September
