What is the best way to learn PLO HU, for someone coming from NLHE? Or would u prefeer them learning 6max PLO for starters?
Are there any solid vids, articles on coahcing sites that would really help at beginning? Or is playing as much as possible and analyzing the way to learn it fastest?
Should i even bother with PLO20 HU in order to learn HU PLO, or just go like ap ro and shot on PLO600+? Jokes aside, whats the lowest limit u think its worthwhile grinding at (PLO HU again ofc) ?

learning sh first is probably best. also considering the swings in this game. ppl have to get used to it. if u start with hu right away, u need quite a strong mindset.

dont ask me about the beginning. back then when i started there havent been many good plo vids. i basically learned it myself.now i would see galfond's plo vids >>>>>>>>> all

kyllonnen @ ps and magicninja @ dc are also rly good for advanced plrs.

but as alwas, playing a lot and thinking about the game yourself / with ppl playing similar stakes > any video.

i think we can make profits on every limit. just make sure u table select well. rake will be a big chunk on lower limits.

def play several stakes lower than u play nlhe. swings are different and the fact that u are probably not soo good make brm significant!

havent been in nlhe sh mode lately. hu nlhe rocks tho. i suqeezed in a number of hu sessions. while plo hu is teh absolute shit, hu nlhe is still a great game. esp metagame and dynamic wise it can get rly interesting. def less swingy than plo, but also quite demanding

hai aka BsB wanted to see a balla graph today. it felt like i made quite some $$ on plo600sh lately. usually 600 isnt running all that often, so i dont have a big sample. it just felt im only leaving the tables with more moniez than i sat down with ♦ i mostly play 400, 500 and 1k. those run more often. rarely played 200 or 2k.
anyway, checked graph for 600sh and here it was: cool graph for hai ♦ no sample ofc. some of my other graphs in plo look more like a rollercoaster. but ofc nice to look at some hot run graphs from time to time.
funny thing: nlhe600sh has also been my most profitable limit lifetime. i rly wonder why. maybe i should switch to being a 3/6 only poker pro!?

my mum runs a restaurant in vienna city centre. my bro wants to become lawyer. thats his official answer atm. actually he want to become poker pro and live the balla live. dunno why, he probably sees its cooool ♠_cool: and his poker skills are above 90% of all ps members. we have strategy discussions almost daily. when he reaches 18, he will be destroying the tables.

mixed games highstakes u dont find many "fish". what u will find is regs who are good in some games and rly bad in others. overall i think mistakes in plo are biggest. so if u are a strong plo plr, u have an advantage. nlhe is not important.
i cant say much about those games tho. some friends play highes mixed games atm, but im not skilled enough to rly say who is the fsh in whcih game. mostly regs battleing in out

plo online and live tourneys def fishiest game on the planet

plo live cg huge action game. u will find most aggro gamblers on those tables. u better have 10 stacks with u for a session. u need to be prepared for swings!

i think kyllonnen for plo is rly rly good and ps has a high class video producer her. other than that i like galfond and magicninja for plo mid-high stakes

i never watch any nlhe vids on ps, so cant say much. but i know most video producers personally (ge5sterne, siete777 etc etc) and i must say all of them are rly rly cool guys. ofc mbml and gervinho in our community are also smart bastards, gervinho maybe on dope too often and galvin spewing a bit much at times ♠_biggrin:
i also heard somnius and insiyder vids are rly solid.

i think (honestly) that for those small stakes i make videos for, im above average for nl50-nl400 video producers for a training site. most ppl who play 400-2k (well i also bumhunt 5k, but dont play much) also make vids on those stakes. i personally dont wanna do demanding vids. its way more fun to produce 0.5/1 vids

the mix makes it. but overall fish:shark ratio >>>> all.
only if u grind flhe u rly need a good vip system. maybe also for plo small stakes. but games are soft in plo anyway, so just play where u feel comfortable imo and where u get at least some solid rb.

best advice for micro plrs: dont ever think u will make money playing poker. i can imagine some ppl dream about learning a bit here and there and making a solid living playing poker. i assume 95% of those ppl will not be able to make sustainable profits. its a tough life, but i love it cuz its just sooo balllaaaaaaaaaa ♠_love:
other than that advice: have fun learning, dont care about outcomes. focus on decisions and find a network of plr u can discuss with. u wont succeed alone

depends on villain a lot. vs some aggro monkey i c/c top pair + gs 3 times. only c/r river in case i hit gs.

i do regularly c/c c/r sets vs those guys. only nut full i might c/c 3 times vs some rly spewy guys. (well ofc c/rai river then)

i def dont c/c weak ranges overall oop as pfa. cuz thats what everyone puts u on. i rather c/f or b/f those hands.

so u wont see me c/c 2 times A7 on 769 Q K and turning my hand into a c/r bluff on the river. im not a spewmonkey
