Nice blog. I can't believe no one posted for the for so long.
I take it your playing SH? Nice bankroll building!

$12 a beer! Jeeez no wonder you want to leave!!! Just wondering how many hands you play (aim to play) a month and how many tables at a time?
Beer prices are insane here, that's what happens when you live in a father knows best state. They don't want you to have fun. Serious life tilt.
Hands last month was about 50-60k, I will try to play a minimum of 50k hands a month.

Thanks. I play both SH and FR. I play on 3 sites. Stars, Bwin and Bodog. I had decided to take all the money out of Stars at first but I decided to put some back as it is the best site for grinding tons of tables.
Bwin is Ongame which was a true pain to play at but I will see it through for the sake of the bonus. Bodog software wasn't that bad but I only play SH there as playing 4 tables max on FR would bore me to death. I don't really mind the 4 tables max limit though, keeps the 24 tabling nits away.
Stars is a bit more reginfested than the other sites but the software beats all others which means I am less prone to tilt which means I play better. I think it evens out, at least on nl25-nl50.
Had to withdraw $200 from my bankroll to buy food (I'm such a broke bum), so my bankroll is back to $2700. I will try not to have a mental breakdown.
Found your blog by coindicence. Or boredom.
Anyway, it's nice to see someone who's in the same position as myself. Me and a couple of other players are trying to do the same thing as you, and we have a goal to go to Brazil by February to share a pokerflat together.
I'm also going to Romania in a month to stay with a pokerplayer for 2,5 months and grind/review/study together and get ready for Brazil. We are looking for a 3rd player to join us, but we wanted someone known to us. Don't know if you'd be interested but if so we could at least discuss it.
Will def be keeping track of your blog either way.
He is indeed

+1
I heard that this guy from Romania is a great dude ![]()
and man, his poker is amaaazing!
Hi guys, glad my blog can give you some stimuli before you bore yourselves to death ♦
That could be something to discuss, though I am probably not going anywhere until I have a little more in surplus for living money, but at this rate I will most likely have that in a little while. When are you thinking of going there?
If you guys are as serious about poker as me at the moment I think it could be a good environment to be in for improvement.
Guess we will be "neighbours" afterwards as I am thinking Argentina or Bolivia
-$500 in the last two days. Not one account has had a positive result.
Pokerstars: -$350
Bwin: -$75
Bodog: -$80
This is just fucking sick. I think I'll switch to robbing people and selling drugs, much safer.
In my last post here I was obviously on heavy tilt ![]()
I've been putting up posts at the beginner's locker, treating that as a blog. I did not really go through with that whole thing as I felt the information was a bit basic.
My current bankroll has hit the $4k mark and I am now playing nothing below nl50. My BR could have been bigger if I had not started spending already, but I had to invest in a monitor, poker books, HEM2, a new cellphone, pay bills, etc.
I did take some shots at nl100 and it has been good to me so far. I even ran above EV ♦

Oh, and here is a funny hand from my nl100 shot. Try to put villain on a hand.

I bought some plane tickets today, going to visit a buddy of mine who lives in another town, take a few days off the grind and then I have a week with the military where I had to take another plane (yet another costly ticket). Last time now and I have promised myself I will pay my bankroll back for the plane ticket with the money from the military, which totals up to $536 when we convert it to USD.
Meanwhile I had another good grinding session today. 2-4 tabled at Bodog for 3 hours nl50 and nl100. I'm still a bit scared money at nl100 after I'm up a few buyins so I'm not going to play more of that today. I guess once my bankroll is up a bit more I won't be that much on edge. I still play rather nitty at that level but with good table selection that's ok.

And the big drop is not a bad beat, nor a cooler. I think I could have lost half of that if I hadn't fallen in love with my QQ overpair which in that situation was obviously only getting paid by JJ but behind KK and AA.
The big ups are just some good ol' donk stacking ♦
Hitting a wall again.
Friday was a +$90 day, followed by Saturday -$40 and today -$45, so that's a break even for 3 days.
Had another session today so the total for today is +$153 and bankroll is back up to 4k.
Blew my whole 6k bankroll on two weeks in Thailand. I was only planning to spend 2k. Oh well, back to work. Maybe I'll return to poker in a few months.
