Soooo. As it seems that nothing will happen in Romania in a cpl of months regarding poker, I've decided I'm going.

We are still looking for someone to join us, so if you are interested, go back a page or two and read the post! I'll be going in the start of october for the record. I'll stay for 2,5 months and go back sometime mid december. Don't have any exact dates yet but I likely book tickets in the next days.

As for this month, I've played 20.5 hours of poker in the first 6-day period. Pretty okay, but certainly not means I have time to relaxe. The best part is that I feel my ability to play longer sessions, and keep up focus is def improving. I do think it's a good idea to have a few days completely off, so that means I'll need to play 5-7 hours at least a few days.

Will attempt that today. :)

Fell in love with this song... just something about the beat that makes me feel good :f_love: Perfect for poker.

Played 4 hours earlier, took a pretty awesome line where I overbet overbet and checked river when the draws missed and it was pretty obvious Villain was on a draw. Checked to him (pot was already ~60bb and it started out as a limped pot) and he pot river IP when I checked to him. He had Q6s for a busted flushdraw. :f_cool:

It's exactly what I wanted. I mean what will he do when he has a similar hand which is just trash? Check back river and lose with your Ah/Qh/whatever hand in a rather big pot or try to bluff when I oviously look rly weak?

Awesome song vonki. Yeah, usually there is no way villain will check back after you played like that (;

Yea, it's awesome :f_love:

I surrendered after 6.5 hours of play. Very happy with the hours, and very happy with my play for the most part. No spew, no tilt, just a bit lack of focus towards the end and didn't use every spot I could concerning light 3bets etc, but it felt safer not to do so after that many hours of play. Easy decisions ftw.

It brings my total for the month up to 27 hours, so I'm well on track. Who knows, in the end I might even exceed the hours I aimed for :f_cool:

No promblemas chicka!

So here's another song that I love, and that makes me feel awesomeeee :f_love:

It also reflects how I feel atm.

Work it, make it, do it, makes us
Harder, better, faster, stronger!

Exactly how I feel. Except for the faster part.

I feel like a new player. I work much harder, I try much harder, I am much better, I am much stronger. Confidence after recording part 3 & 4 of Pink Performance is on a peak.

I'm also surrounded on Skype by people who give me so much energy, confidence, guidance, motivation and support. Really happy to have you all, you know who you are! Mucho mucho    to all of you!

As per volume I've put in 33 hours so far, so well on track. LML!

xoxo

Keep the focus on your goals and i am pretty sure you will achieve what you are looking for.

Supposed to update yesterday, but was away all day.

Had a pretty brutal weekend in terms of poker. Fishes with luckboxes!

Good thing I had a very nice start to the week ;D

This week: +$116 and +$12 from promotions.

Brings me to a total of +$377 so far in September.

Kind of missing rakeback, weekly RB on ftp was so awesome. Now I have to save up PP's for a bonus (which as of lately takes even more time with the new rakesystem). :( Not even sure which one to go for. Either I need to rake $5k for the $1k bonus, or I need to rake $10k for the $3k bonus. Making palladium on NL50 will be quite hard anyway now, so I guess I just step up to NL100 without buying any bonuses and after that we'll see where I'm at.

I'm at 36.5/90 hours so still on track! New week, new oppertunities!

Get Ready It's a New Day!

xoxo

Sure Emma.

I've made a decision today not to go to Romania. It's not that I don't want to, because I really really do. But because of some unforseen changes to the swedish community, I no longer have a steady income. Pretty much all freelancework has been cut down drasticly.

Thus without a "safe" income, I am now forced to go "pro" (thus living of poker) much sooner than expected, and I don't think I could afford the extra expenses that going to Romania would mean. In fact, I'll even need to try to find a way to cut down on current expenses or increase my current income somehow.

I have a plan A, I have a plan B, and I have a plan C. The road got a bit tougher, but that just means I need to toughen up a bit extra aswell. :)

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going".

Back to work.

xoxo

Good on you Vonki! Very inspiring attitude of late. And I must say your voice is very cute. Looking forward to the next video!

Euan.

You should consider that living somewhere with the object of playing poker gets you very focused and might turn out +ev even with extra expenses compared to staying home. I've never played better or more than when I stayed with Gerv this summer.

+1

I wouldnt be surprised if you earn 3x more in a good poker environment, playing same stakes as now. But yeah, if you dont have reserves to burn, that is a big problem. GL vonki :f_grin:

Thank you Euan, really warm words!

@ Fongie and Alverine: Yes, I have considered this fact aswell. The problem is that I'd not feel comfortable with having so few BI's for NL50. If I was to pay for flight and other expenses, I'd be forced to move down to NL25 again which would make it much harder to make more $$ then if I was to stay at home. :f_frown:

Since my longterm goal is to go to Brazil, going to Romania atm would jeapordise(spelling? lol) being able to make that. I still get all the perks of living with pokerplayers in Brazil, and since Brazil is a huge priority over Romania I had to decide upon not going. It is however decided that if for some reason I won't be able to afford Brazil, I will be going to Romania in feb-march instead.

So all in all not bad, though going to Romania now and Brazil after that would have been awesome ofc. :f_mad:

Best of luck Vonki, i admire your progress last couple of months, you have really grown as a person and as a player, i believe that you will succeed if you keep on going towards focused goals. 1% a day makes you 100% better in 70 days, think about that ;)
