read section 1 of treat your poker like a business today. its awesome! although i do feel like it was written for someone who is at a higher level than me but i am definitely learning lessons from it. it's very insightful and definitely has me thinking! i plan on finishing it tomorrow morning. then i will play a sesh.

Hey man cheers, and games going ok, moved from NL2 to NL4 with some aggressive BRM, which kinda backfired as i went on a downswing and then moved back down to NL2, and yeh still at william hill.

i've decided to play 2 sessions a day - a few hours of 9tabling 2nl and then later on a few hours playing on 5 tables with one 4nl table mixed in there too.

the only problem is my supervisor just sent me an 86 page DISGUSTING research article that i have to read soon and "get back to her" about. no pressure or anything... so i may have to sacrifice poker for a few days...

i didnt even see i had quads when it happened - matt said later on but i didnt believe him lol.

yea im at around 70bb/100h atm over last few k hands. thought since i have 32 stacks for 4nl i'll give it another go. lost a BI (stacked off with TPTK ) tilted then went to the kitchen to comfort eat. back again to the playground AKA 2nl

I think when you start to tilt from your own mistakes and get angry with yourself instead of blaming the fish you are really making progress!

definitely. one of my leaks when i get under pressure is i never give people credit! i just dont believe they have a hand. i normally conclude it from some random play like min betting or min raising or something. i should believe people more lol

this was one of my biggest leaks too!!!! it got worse when I got hem!! I would look at stats and see they were fish and think he's bluffing!! now I just try to give them the benefit of doubt!! unless I have a monster then I try to extract as much value as possible!
It happened to me today, I had a set but there was a flush on the table, fishy raised and I thought he's bluffing!

thats nothing... i folded a straight flush! there was only one hand he could have - that was the one that beats me. so disappointing.
