Nice blog sir!!

Have seen you arround on rush and stars. Didnt realise you where that good

As you go up in the stakes do you change youre game? I went back to NL25 from NL100 rush and valueownd myself by blufs that didnt work etc.

More plays on higher stakes and more ABC on the lower?

Keep on going, wanna see you climbing the stairs some more =)

Ty!

Well on higher limits I can make more moves because the thought process other players go through is more logical, and therefore more predictable in alot of spots. But on lower limits I've had alot of spots where I'd valuebet with the worst hand, because I thought there was no way this player has me beat here.
Lower limits are just way more passive. People on higher limits are used to valuebetting thinly. I think in general you should just be conscious of the fact that people on lower limits are less aggressive and that the aggression increases with every limit you move up, and change your game accordingly.
But ofcourse this is in general, alot of the play is player dependent.

I know, I know :f_p:
Will do that from now on, haven't done it so far because I'm confident I can win up to NL200. Now I need to withdraw regularly to atleast prepare myself financially to the swings I will have on NL400 in the future(I hear the skill gap between NL200 and NL400 is reaaaaaaally big).
Having a decent amount of money on my bank account should help with that.
Just nice to know that in the future if I get like a 10-15BI downswing on NL400, that it's not the end of the world =)

Challenge Update nr.8

Hi! ;)

I have played about 12K hands on NL200, went on a 15BI downswing which was half my Pokerstars BR :f_frown:
I took a break for about a week and focused on other things like my music.
Now I feel ready to start grinding serious again.
I probably should have quit sooner but my ego wouldn't let me:P
Now I've accepted that sometimes you just run unbelievably bad and especially with 30BI BRM you have to just move down when you lose 5BI like it says and don't let ego get in the way. It's always been hard for me to admit that I failed at something I work hard at, and ofcourse with poker it's worse because you really don't know how much of it was running bad and how much of it was playing bad.
Here is the graph( it shows only 6K hands because I had to restore my computer and lost the other 6K hands, which were like -$1500):

Anyway now I have 30 BI for NL100 and I will just go from there.
At least for the rest of this month I will play 5K hands/day 12/16 tabling NL100

For example if I play at NL200, I can move up to NL400 when my bankroll reaches 12K. But before I move up I have to cashout 25 buyins of the next level, which is NL400. 25x400 = 10K.

So how I could do this for example is by cashing out 2K every time I win 3.2K. So if I repeat this process 5 times I would have cashed out 10K and also have the 12K bankroll necessary to move up to NL400(5x1200=6K).

Nice work. Just a quick question:

how are you going about table selection, just randomly, or you keep looking for better ones in the course of your sessions?

I try to get on the tables with ppl I've marked as fish, and after that I just get on any random table with a decently high %/flop and avg pot.
If I'm 9 or 12 tabling I will replace worse tables but when I'm 16 tabling I just don't even bother since there's always some good ones in there somewhere. I'm not that fast of a player so I will time out and stuff if I try :f_p:

Good Luck on your way back up!

Just follow that stairway and you will be okay. 30BI is rough but if you follow it closely you should be okay! :)

Keep it up man. UP UP AND AWAY!
