There was some quartered onions mixed in with the veggies but no garlic - I wanted to keep it simple and stick to Keller's recipe. Next time I'll start adding things :-)

Haha god dammit, I knew someone would pull me up on that after I posted it but was too lazy to fix it >.< !It's been a fairly interesting past few days, but all's well that ends well!
I was DEFINITELY playing very bad in the middle there. I don't quite know what happened but my concentration completely slipped away, I started doing things like watching TV shows and browsing forums while playing and it resulted in a big loss - a loss that I definitely deserved. Thankfully I was able to recognize my errors before things got too bad and really focused on playing well and with a little run good at the end it all came good.
I continue to completely brick every tournament I play. I think I've played like 6 WCOOPs and 3 or 4 2nd chances now and haven't cashed in any of em. Fml. Saying my run-good for the $2,100 PLO event..
Going on a double date tonight with VPP/SNG machine "azntracker" and his new gf. Gonna grab some drinks at a bar at the Shangri-La hotel and then head to http://www.chophouse.com.au/ for dinner - first time any of us are going there, it's been a while since i've eaten steak at a restaurant so i'm looking forward to it! omnomnom.
enjoy! I'm always hesitant about going out to eat steak because it's so easy to cook a nice one, but the good steak restaurants truly are amazing. their produce is just so goooood. sample size: 1 (rockpool in melbourne)
The pub I work at has an awesome owner/chef who cooks the most amazing steak. It's sort of locally famous for how nice it is ♦ However much of an arsehole he is to work under, he is quality at steak. If anyone is ever in The Lake District drop by and have a cheeky 500g rump ♠_cool:
Lake District UK? Always wanted to go there sometime, nice place. Unfortunately never had the time, but I'll plan to next spring/summer. What's the place called Wriggers?
Haha I wouldn't stay around here, not much to do. But about 20 miles or so away is places like Coniston and Windermere which are very nice places. The pub i'm talking about is in a tiny village called Kirksanton, the pubs name is the King William IV ♦
Yeah I totally agree with not eating steak when you go out too often. Every once in a while it's nice for sure but there's so much good cuisine out there that is far more difficult / impossible to re-create at home that I prefer to eat that!
Speaking of which, tonight we're going here for dinner: http://www.porteno.com.au/Page/Porteno #nomnomnom
Poker this month has been going pretty damn good. The WCOOP has been lackluster for me, I have cashed in a whopping zero events thus far. I've probably played about 10. I did have one stellar night where I won about a bazillion satellites in the hyper turbo SNGs to the $320r event, but then probably blew it all in the event itself (i was in for like $3k). Le sigh. Really, REALLY looking forward to the $2,100 PLO event tonight though.
Cash games have been going well. I'm running great. Not putting in as much volume as i'd like and there have been patches when I haven't been playing my best but then also patches where i feel i've been playing exceptionally well.
MTD Graph:

Hope everyone else is having a good month too
Literally just lost $15k in about 40 minutes. Serves me right for posting a graph like that, the dreaded curse and all. SIGH.

haha
siiiiiiigh, started to mount a little comeback winning about $5k then got it in on 4 tables within 2 minutes and lost them all for between $1k and $3k each. God what a ridiculous game this is. Sometimes you win big, sometimes you lose big, sometimes you break even big. But at the end of the day it works out, and the journey is one amazing cesspool of highs and lows and mediums that make it all the more interesting.
Wouldn't trade this life for the world. And I say this after losing more than $10,000/hr for the last two hours.
LG - Life's Good.
So things have been pretty damn brutal since my last update. The good and variancey part of it all is that I got 18th in the HU PLO WCOOP tourney. Top 16 made day two. I had my opponent all-in 3 or 4 times and every time he made the winning hand on the river, so it was pretty tilting to lose that match, but such is life (especially tournament life).
More frustrating has been my cash game run this past week:

It has not been fun. The worst of it was this morning (see the last part of the graph) and 2 nights ago when there was a PokerStrategy Staff Freeroll on. First prize was $500 or so and I was awake at the time so I figured "why not?". It was a NLHE tourney which I have no idea how to play so I proceeded to shove all-in for the first 10 minutes or so. Turns out I used all my rungood in that silly thing:

It was at this point I got the "another one bites the dust" song stuck in my head and proceeded to loop the song for the rest of the night:
Anyway, at some point I settled down b/c I had 10% of the chips in play and 10x average stack and was like "hmm, maybe I can win this thing". I then fired up some cash tables and grinded the usual grind -- bad idea! Oh well. I ended up coming 2nd in the freeroll which was nice.
I might drop down a bit and grind out some 2/4 for the next couple of days. I've been killing it there for the last 2 months (since getting back from WSOP/Mexico), obviously running good, but my game seems to be A+ lately:

Last night's dinner...

I submitted a new "climbing the rank" video about 2 weeks ago. I heard back yesterday of their review and it was very positive. I assume this means the video should be posted shortly
