My LOVE is unprecedented

coz of my rising contact w lower/microstakes plrs (besides my love coaching also some RL friends i taught poker mostly for fun) and my desperately competitive character am debating taking on the classic 50$-10k$ challenge that many microstakes plrs start with.

Those who didnt hear my story yet, i am 1 of the fortunate ones who started off w the pokerstrategy's 50$ and turned em to everything without ever depositing anything from outside of poker bankroll. This was however 3years ago, so my goal would be to show NL poker is still easily beatable and that from virtually nothing, anything is possible when u gring a lot and play good.

I think, i can make 50$--->10k$ in 1 single month and on 1 single platform. Most prolly this is going to be partypoker and i ll reveal my nick and try to contact partypoker support if they can verify the results in case anyone needs this and wouldnt believe my graphs which i would post prolly once every 3-4days.

Still, it s a bit boring for me to grind my way up from the rock botttom NL2, so i need some extra sidebet motivation for this. Since, the prestige and personal challenge is more important to me than the actual $, i ll give the odds are almost hilariously +EV for the betters against me. I offer 5:1 for me, i want to bet up to 10-15k$ of my own money on this vs 50k-75k of others. Srsly, if anyone else from my friends attempted this for the odds, i d snap bet ~5k against (and if anyone is intersted in some dualtype of challenge let me know- maybe i bet even more), i know how much good variance this needs + its virtually impossible to talbeselect well while playing just 1 platform, since i ll have to play heavy multitabling on esp micros if i want to move up the lims quick enough to stand any chance. Rakeback in the challenge is not counted! So i have to beat the micros drastically.

Let me know who is interested to buy how much action, note: this is just finding out of a preliminary interest, the actual betting will start once i know its worth preparing myself mentally for this.

i would only bet on myself with those odds in plo. i just cant imagie u doing it with nlhe. cant be done imo. no rb, no bonus, no promotion and no jackpot moniez

I think also mindset wise its cool for u to do, if u can prove to urself u could make back ur money at any point in time, if something tragic happened to roll, it might help push u into playing some of the higher games i know ur desp to play.

I'd bet against u but don't have any decent number of $$ to bet on it. I think this is near on impossible. What BRM would u use? Kelly or sth?

$10k profit is a 100 stacks if u started at 100nl? really?

assuming u used 10bi brm for every limit, thats 92bi, and would 10bi really be enough when u start hitting 200-600nl??

Siiick challenge, i am very interested into following your progress. I'd be interested into betting 500-750$ against you i believe, have to think about it a little longer though.

obv since its about serious moniez i dont believe in any hem graphs. party support has to officially support that challenge. tableratings on party is also way off so thats also not an option.

once u know u rly wanna do it i will come up with questions. dont wanna post them yet cuz some might be asked anyway by others and i wanna make sure u sleep over it for one night. wouldnt be the first time u changed your mind ♦

Did some back of the envelope calcs and w/o variance that would mean 100k hands with 10 BIs BRM with decent win rates ofc (10bb/100 up to nl100 bit less then)

With variance are we talking about 150k hands (5k hands a day)?

TT prereserved all 100% of the action, the exact deals will be publicized after a week or so, when i decide whether to take part or not.

more to the rules:

*i cant reload (if i bust the 50$, i cant deposit - i can at most play freerolls to win some $ back, no other way)
*only cg SH/FR tabs could be played, i cant play HU (other than when starting a tab on SH/FR tabs
*no rb/no promos/no jackpot is counted

i am very thrilled and motivated to try to do this. Didnt expect such a snap ♦ prolly showing how well he knows me :f_confused:. True that to bet vs a guy who can hardly put in 30k hands/month seems like a nobrainer, but for my supporters: dont give up on believing: i am well known for my grinding history as well and that i can still put 3-4k hand days even now, and usually my lack of hands is that i play just 8-10days/month due to lack of motivation/ burned out- hmm.. sth i ll fight w for sure, but think i have more love for the game now and emotional support w me (my gf) than any time before.

Also: TT says if he loses he is going to take on the same challenge, but for PLO. Think its fair if i win this, that i guarantee him at least 5k back on his action. (i am not so baller into bets as him so would have to reconsider bigger one) would be rly interested to know what s the current situation of PLO games.

Pretty decent. Exactly what i needed to wake up from an autumn lethargy.

@BRM and no. hands questions: i am 100% sure i cant play more than 120k hands/month, even that is going to be ridiculous, i think 100k is my realistic absolute max. BRM is going to be hyperagressive w sth like 8BI shots higher, certainly till NL50, 8tabling-12tabling (or how much i can sustain- not much exp w more than 8tabling SH.), if i get to NL100 i ll only 6table and try to make the most money by my main weapons: special betsizings and creative lines. However obv its questionable how often i can use em while being energy dead. Sure i ll take few days total off.

Interesting challenge, I made some calculations as well and I think its very hard but doable. Maybe interested in doing something similar but then in grind-mode (20tables)
