In his shoes with AAxx being out of position and having the nuts i would have just come over the top on the flop.... And his checkraise on the river. Allthough I like it, I'm just never ever ever gonna pay it off with anything :P. Would be a sick bluffspot though ><

Am I a station or a nit, I still haven't figured it out :

Seems pretty std :P.

In the AAxx hand I would also always come over the top with his hand. What 77xx hand do you need to continue in such spot (if he repots)? I assume you would insta muck your 7786 here. Get it in with an extra diamonddraw?

I fold such hand btw pre to get out of these ugly spots. You think thats too tight or?

He must of though you had a lot of bluffs in your range, and whatever happens he was gna get paid off on river regardless if you had a flush/set/bluff, obv raising is standard but good 2 mix it up ofc :)

River is a pretty blank card, but I really dont think he has enough hands with enough value in his range to make a herocall so that guy can make a thin valuebet...

I think im a station :

this hand looks interesting _cool:

when you call the flop raise, which turns do you lead?
and same for river, do you lead some river cards after c/c the paired turn?

is it easier to call the river when he pots?

Came in 60th in the warmup, which I was pretty bummed about... Had a really long stretch of non-playable hands and spots which blinded my 20-30bb stack down to 5bb. Pretty frustrating 7 hours in a tournament....

The small raise on the flop was pretty weird, because I don't believe he will ever take that sizing with a set or anything really strong. Unless its a ubercombodrawsetthingy, so I do believe against alot of his range with straight and flushdraws my 9 might be good some of the time. Together with the OESD to the nuts and the small sizing the only thing I'm gonna do there is to make a call, because I do think he will never fold to a shove.

On the turn I pretty much check everything. He is gonna bet pretty much all his misses and all his hits, so I do not see a whole lot going for me leading. Turn pairs the board, which is really good, because if he does not have a set, which I don't think he ever has, all his draws still missed and my 9 might still be good. Again he bets small allowing me to stay in the pot. Allthough you could shove, with all these reads I don't see the use of it, because he will never fold and on a lot of rivers I do know the correct play.

River is a 4, which is not bad, not super, but in general does not change a lot. I don't think he will shove anything with real showdown value since he would check his overpairs behind most of the time. He definitely would valuebet a 56xx but that is also on of the more less likely straightdraws considering his flopraise. Problem is that I do not beat all his bluffs.... I would look pretty stupid if he had a better 9xxx..... Thankfully he did not have that ^^

Is it hard to get SNE? I thought NL/PLO5k is able to get SNE easily, but it looks harder than I expected after I read your blog.

60k down in the last 3 days.
Today im running an insane 1641bb under EV in just 3621 hands without playing any deep games.....

Getting SNE is a pretty big task. Playing only PLO5k wont get u sne, just to little action.

That sounds pretty brutal. I'm sure the upswing is on its way though.
