Today we played live poker.
I called raise pre with 42s on BTN (it was only 3-handed, vs 1 fish in the hand)
and flop came down: 444 (LOLzzz ♦ ) just 1st time flopped quads in live game, thats why Im a bit surprised/excited (I only play poker very rare now btw)
Whats the odds of flopping quads with only one card in your hand???
p.s.
I got it in vs that fish for his all stack (he turned a full house, with 5 on turn)

What kind of poker game is that if you call a raise on the button in a 3 handed table?
First card on flop can be any of the six cards that match one of your two:
6/50
Second card must be one the remaining two that match the paired card and make trips:
2/49
Third card must be last remaining card to make the 4 of a kind:
1/48
So by multiplying these, the probability is:
(6*2*1)/(50*49*48)
=1/(50*49*4)
=1/(200*49)
=1/9800
Or 9799-1 against, as LONGPLAY66 said above.

You have 6 possible cards for a pair, then two cards for that pair to become tree of a kind and one for quads.
There are 50 unknown cards remaining, then 49 and 48.
The chance is 6/50 * 2/49 *1/48 = 1/9800, so one time every 9800 (unpaired) hands.
