thats what I did, just wondering if c/f is an option as im not getting value from anything worse, hes obv not playing AK like this and i doubt hed call with AQ or QJ, KJ esp considering i have the A 
I think we have the best hand here alot so shoving seems ok as it would suck for him to turn his hand into a bluff and for us to fold the winner.
Imo bet smaller on the flop.
By making it that big we're forcing most hands to fold so we don't get much value, and additional to that you set up weird stacksizes for the turn - I agree with you and I am thinking about getting away from the hand.
My making it 16 on the flop we can b/f the turn if we think his range is too strong and at the same time enable us to valuebet vs a wider range.
Also if he is actually aggro we allow him to shove draws on the turn (ofc under this assumption the plan is to b/c).
As it's hard to say wether he would call Kx type hands on the turn, but if he was any aggro before I'm checking to induce, imo especially on spade he'll try to bluff - and if there's a blank on the river he'll still have a very hard time folding.
