Well, as you already answered your question. As you said you are raising for value then you also should consider going broke. Although this kind of line could be easily even trap-type of line.
Myself I'd rather take pot control line and Call and reevaluate it on further streets. If I am raising this also means I am planning to go broke against his stack/stats.
