I am still not recovered fully. Still tried to play some games, but quickly noticed I would not be able to play a long session. So I said to myself I would quit when I had registered for 50 tournaments and that's what I did. Since Tableninja had to be shut down at the beginning of the session I actually played 52 games. Ran pretty bad, but still managed a nice profit over those games.

NEW RECORD ACHIEVED!!! 137 BI downswing

Games played: 286 (1326)
Playing time: 11.7 hours (58.6)
FPP earned: 538.72
VPP earned: 358.16 (1641.97)

Yep, we not only achieve super profit days but also nice downswing, now I deff see the point of 200-300 buy in bankroll. Not that I am afraid for me, but beginners should stick to it hard and very conservative, especially on turbos. Really hope this one is gona be my biggest :f_biggrin:, but that is only wish, we will see.

Tomorrow new coaching with Aaron, and gona do some tournament situation where I have very big chip stack in middle phase, but for some reason finished very low, so I am very interested to see did I use my chip leverage well and in right spots.

137 seems like a big number, but that should be pretty normal for MTT imo.I've had 80+ BI downswings on 9max on a limit that I beat with 9-10% ROI,so I guess it's pretty normal.Thats why BRM is the most important thing to consider when we start.New players will blame the poker site or online poker in general _biggrin:

kurrkabin, my was 50 on 22$ STT, biggest downswing. But very good observation about "New players", I remember when I was new player , some of that is still "new" I must admit...but I am working on that. :f_biggrin:

There have been some developments to my online grinding and also my health. That's why I did not get enough games in so far. I think I did reasonable well considering I have been ill for like a week and still managed to get in the amount of games I did so far. I am not really satisfied yet.

That is why I applied to sngprotege.com I am looking at making a deal with them for the 180's. I am still wating for a reply of them and am looking forward to see what they have to offer for me as a player. I am likely to begin playing after my holidays so we will see what happens.

Yesterday I had such a bad day that I had to quit myself from playing anymore games. That was a very good decision I think. After 140 games I had 4 min-cashes. My mindset was still pretty good but I felt I should better stop before my mindset and thus my playing style would change. So I have still some catching up to do and will try my hardest to make it work.

I have 13 days left to play before I will go on vacation. I want to play a average of 150 games a day to keep some better focus and to not make myself ill again. This will mean close to 2000 games more. It will bring me to roughly 3500 games.

Afaik profit sharing is based on your previous results (which in your case should be in your favour) and the minimum amount of games that you have to play is negotiable, and protege doesn't advertise that possibility (might be possible though).
You can contact Moshman, there is thread here now also, so you can compare deals.

Just wanted to leave this here. I posted this on some one else his blog, but thought it might contain something that is very important to think about if you are looking into time-management. In my honest opinion this is something every himself respecting poker player needs to look into one day or another.

People talking about sleeping 8 hours a night is a must definetly don't know what they are talking about.

I have studied sleeping patterns and the need of the body to recover for a while to figure out what is best for your body. For a average person 3-4 hours a night is a must to recover yourself. This goes for both mentaly as physically.

When you are a sleep your mind will try to "work through" (can't find the right word) mental problems and your body will recover from injuries big or small. It's not to regain energy, since your body will use energy when you sleep.

After some serious studying I found out that you can train your body/mind to need less sleep over the course of time. Offcourse you can't go from 9 hours to 4 hours over a week. But it is definetly possible to work your way to 4 hours a night. If you take of a half hour each week it is a very healthy way to let your body/mind adapt to the new circumstances. I do advice to not take of a hour or 1.5 hours a month since it might be to fast.
