thx for all ur support, rly love how this community is compact a lot. . I am rly very fine now and playing a lot.

I decided to take on the 50$-10k in 30days challenge and i want to do it starting from ~10-12th Nov. Spoke to TT who now has to decide how much action he rly wants. Due to many scams in the latest time in our poker world its understandable bets for any sizeable amount are more hesitant. I might open the action to everyone else to get filled up up to at least 50k bet vs me. I am prepared to provide all hands, every minute of recorded footage of my play as well as camera set to nonstop monitor my desk or answering phone calls or be ready for a flat inspection live ♦ Obv party support will provide exact stats and my sn will be known. (at least to the better/s, i am unsure whether to go public during the bet coz it might negatively infulence the action i get - however in the case i ll provide regular updates on my progress in some blog- either here or u ll find a link to it here)

My personal thoughts on this:

a) Initially I wanted to get a piece of the action and since I didn't know how much TLN is going to bet, I wanted to reserve all the action for myself in case he starts the bet.

b) I think its not doable very often if we had a big sample size in NLHE. I think it will be easier with 5:1 odds in PLO since you just need a strong upswing 25% of the time and you clearly show a profit. Which will def happen. Let's say one big up one big down and 2 times you just ran average where you can still do it with sicko grind and sample. By running good I also mean getting good seats all the time deep vs fish etc. Or favourable setups ofc. AI EV is just one aspect of it.

e.g. these are my last days PLO SH in my new office (small hidden penthouse brag! )

avg BB ~ 5$, mostly 2/4, rest 5/10. 12k hands can be played in 2 days. So with PLO swings, it could be over fast ♦

20 stacks in 10k hands doesnt happen in NLHE SH or FR nearly as often.

I do think its possible on paper but incredibly difficult in practice, so although 5:1 sounds like good odds for TLN, it's still very tough and would be an insane achievement. I believe in his skill edge to be able to adapt to the level of play on every limit, however, I do not believe in his mindset skills for this task, that's why I wanted to bet against.

c) Due to recent events I'm obv extremely paranoid and everybody I tell my stories to, advises me not to get into any online stakings, bets, lending etc with ppl I only know for some time. My recent badbeat story happened with somebody I spent more time than with TLN. So while I really think TLN stands by his principles and would never cheat results or scam me, I would not be able to excuse myself if I get scammed/cheated on again. I hope that makes sense.
The implied thread of getting scammed again soon in any whatsoever form, is rly big and I wanna minimize that risk to the max.

For that reason I am only engaging in bigger monetary transaction with very close friends and business partners (I obv have to but I am very cautious).

d) Losing a solid two digit amount might hurt our relationship a little bit, but that's really just a minor consideration cuz I am obv pro enough to think about the decision in advance and then be fine with it.

e) Am I rdy to lose a lot in general? Hm, since I invest a lot of money in two business ventures and quite a bit in my new penthouse and also need some play moniez for grinding, I probably shouldnt lose bigger amounts atm.

f) I dont know how I feel about betting a smaller amount like 10k vs 2k. I mean winning 2k is rly nothing so why then even bother getting into it and probably still be emotionally be a little bit involved the last days ♦

g) Overall, I like the overall idea of the challenge but I dont like the idea of betting atm.
Another thing which is kinda sad, If I bet against TLN, I cannot cheer for him and rail him cuz obv then I have to hope he doesnt make it ♦

I will let TLN know till sudnay evening if and for how much I would be in. I have to think about it a bit more and also have to rethink those online bets and stakings overall.

Moral of my rambling: You guys can def bet since I wont take on all the action myself.

woohoo! This is gonna be sick! I don't have a significant amount of money so I can't bet but I'm rooting for TLN anyway and it's better that way. Maybe I'll even bet on him for some micro sum ♦
