Can someboday explain to me the exact difference between Direct Bank Transfers and Wire Transfers.

I read some definitions by banks but I still don't know the different implications for me. Why should I choose one or the other for cashing out? From my experience, Wire transfers result in better exchange rate conversion but that could also just be sample size.

Let Me Google This For You

found this:

In the US, the term 'bank wire' and 'bank transfer' are used (in conversation) interchangeably. But they are actually quite different. A bank wire is like a certified certification. It is an electronic communication from one bank to another. The bank sender advised the bank receiver that there is money in an account in their bank that is being held to guarantee funds to them. This usually occurs when (lets say) My aunt in Ohio deposits my personal check (I live in another state) into her account and she wants to draw on the check immediately. The wire guarantees that the check is backed by funds and will be honored.
A bank transfer is an electronic deposit of funds from (lets say) my account to any account that I specify. It is an immediate money transfer. There is a charge for this service.

also, i noticed that on Pokerstars, wire transfers are done for $50,000 or more only and direct transfers for $49,999 or less. Dunno tho if that makes any difference in your case :)

ty sir, I also did search a bit. However, I still dont get the difference for me as a bank customer.

Which one is faster, which one is cheaper, which one to chose if I got both options for same amount of money?

€: Does it make a difference for my bank in Vienna? If so, which?

I still have to wait many more weeks for most parts for my bedrooms and couches for office and gaming room. Delivery times are incredibly long _cry:
So I guess I will upload one vid by the end of the year when everything (or most stuff) is furnished.

For now a short vid of the top floor without the roof terrace. That's where I soulread for a living :f_grin:

Song is "Avicii - Levels", rockzzzz. At the end of the vid you can see a big Tower changing colours. That's TwiceT-Tower. Or well, to be exact .... it will be my tower in some decades _cool:

My Pro Teddy Bear (sponsored PartyPoker Pro btw) still waits for his place @ couch. For now he just chills right beside the TV.
I just realised I call him "Teddy Bear" or "Pro Teddy Bear" "or Coach" for years, but never gave him an actual name :f_biggrin: Any suggestions? :f_p:

I already asked him, but it seems like he wants to leave the decision to me ...

:club: found a new friend tonight @ 3/6. Had to increase my pre range quite a bit so I could play manyyyy hands ip vs him. On the turn I thought oh yeah, if I pot/shove he might be capable of folding his tp+oesd but if he rly has tp+oesd with QJ he won't fold to a 3/4 bet. muhahahha, soulread _cool:

here's an ugly hand. guy who 3b plays 63/44/25, and others obv dont have AA**. So my hand is best pre but wont flop much most of the time. Tough spot. If stacks were a bit deeper I like calling, if more shallow I think 4b/shove pre is the way to go. But here, its close but probbaly best how I played it. Sometimes there is just no great way to play a hand and hands plays themselves. Flop is tough. 3way my EQ is usually rly fucked and without the gs I would have probably not shoved the rest in. but I only need ~ 22% EQ here. Tough one. Anyway, not much skill needed for those preflop 4b pots, but sometimes you can't avoid them. btw check how btn played his hand open folding pre usually is an option imo, but not in that specific line-up. was just an awesome table _love:
