SB posts SB 10.00, Hero posts BB 20.00

Pre Flop: (30.00) Hero has 8♣ J♠

fold, UTG+1 calls 20.00, fold, MP+1 calls 20.00, LP calls 20.00, fold, fold, fold, Hero checks

Flop: (90.00, 4 players) 2♣ 8♦ 6♥
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP+1 bets 80.00, fold, Hero calls 80.00, fold

Turn: (250.00, 2 players) A♣
Hero checks, MP+1 checks

River: (250.00, 2 players) 5♣
Hero checks, MP+1 checks

My question is how to play when I am on the blinds and flop top pair with weak kicker or middle pair? Should I lead the flop against 3-4 opponents and if someone calls what to do on the turn, bet again or check-fold?

If the flop doesnt hit the limping range well (below broadway combos for example) i opt for a bet in oop. If called, i often take passive line, I'd just c/f the turn here for example, but might c/c the river if turn is checked back.

I like your play; if you were to lead out on the flop what is going to call you that you are beating and nothing that is ahead of you is going to fold.

with such a dry board I agree with giving a free card away; had the flop been checked around I would lead out (probably about 1/2 pot) on the turn to 1) see were we are at with the A and 2) push any flush draws out of the pot.

Given that this didn't happen and you check / Called flop I believe the only play is check / fold on turn and river given they are scarier cards that could very easily have hit villain.

Lead flop for 60 chips. You can be called by worse, but also the point is that that you will get many hands to fold that has good equity versus your hand. Basically all over cards are bad for you. If flop would go checked I would definitely check-fold turn to decent bet. Fish like to limp with many aces.

As played your line is fine.

This. It's something like lead > check/call > anything else.
