Ahhh I do love heskey. He's actually not that bad a player, and is so good for assists, however this has made me laugh so much.

I saw this video for the first time last week under the influence
and i have never laughed so hard.
As you said though he has alot to his game, unfortunately his finishing skills and moments of awkwardness is what sticks in peoples minds.Nearly every England manager in his career picked him and he was actually one of the few players who played well for England at WC 2010.

Congrats to Liverpool.Deserved win but don't forget that this is not the Chelsea of old.Their defense is being constantly ripped to shreds. For the first time Mark i am a bit worried about Liverpool sneaking into top 3 but with Man City and Man Utd both basically assured of a top 3 slot then that leaves 1 place up for grabs.Spurs and Arsenal won't be pushovers for that spot at all and who knows who Chelski will buy in January so lots of competition.
Yip yippity yo, mate you're right on the money about Spurs, I watched them tear your shower to bits the other night and I have feeling they'll push City/Utd all the way.
Did anyone see the Utd v Benfica match? and does anyone know where I can get odds for Utd finishing outside the top 4?

Hey esuohdla, welcome to the dark recesses of our sports forum, haunted by deluded villa fans and the a occasional Kiwi egg chaser.
Chelsea are shot to pieces, Terry's legs went a couple seasons ago and he's now being found out thanks to AVB's insistence on playing a high defensive line. Hopefully, this will spell the end of Terry's England career.

Spurs are looking great alright.Injuries to any of their stars will cost them dear and it is a long season.Great footie to watch too.Won't even bother trying to defend Villa atm.The McLeish factor has set in.
Save your money on that United bet.As much as i hate them they only hit form after xmas normally around January and then they go on a sick run.If anything you should back them (they were 3/1 this time last year after Chelsea's great start). They are 2/1 and Man City are currently 8/11.When Man City and i mean when City hit a bad patch they will at the very least hit evens at some stage during the season. You can cover your bet and have a freeroll of 1 point or else get your money back.I expect other things to happen though and see City drifting alot b4 the end of the season.
Arsenal,Chelsea and others won't win it.Spurs just won't last the season imo but who knows. They are 33/1 if you are feeling lucky Mark.
United have been absolutely dire in Europe this season for some reason that is a worry to them alright.

RIP Gary SpeedDevastating news, great player and a great guy from what I read/saw of him.
Still sinking in Danny. Cant quite get my head around the news.
He was a player, I think we'd all have liked to have emulated, strong in the tackle, great on the ball and good in the air,. One of the Permierships great midfielder's. My thoughts are with his family.

Ah, the world is right again.
Just heard about Speed now.WTF like,he was on Football Focus only yesterday and on the surface seemed ok.He was doing a great job with Wales and seemed to have a bright future. What an absolute shame.42 years old with 2 children.Depression strikes again it seems.
I can't get my head around this at all.

United myself, aswell as Linfield (Small Northern Irish team, go to their matches as often as I can make it). How about yourself?
