AQs 60$ 6m oop vs reg

a good reg will not herocall you unless you are beaten here..

so unless he is capable of herocalling you with 77 88 99 JJ I don't think there will be so much value in shoving you stack, I'd prefer a c/c

I would often 3bet preflop. Flatting just end up often in these tricky oop spots. In flop check-call is best, but it tend to get problematic, if villain is able to double barrel. I would either check-raise turn (also sometimes with air as oop float etc.) or if I check-call turn then I would check-call river as well or donk bet river smallish. That will give him two possibilities: Hero call with better pot odds or try to shove as bluff with some busted draw.

As played, I call also vs this tiny bet here. We cant ch/f just because we didn't hit A or Q or 2 diamonds. ch/R looks suspect - we obv rep nothing; we do we do if he 3bs?

Turn is fine; we want him to keep firing 98o on this overcard hoping we fold 77.

River: ch/c. His 3barrel range is nuts/air now so no value in ch/R. Lead/shoving takes away his ability to bluff and probably gets called only by QT/A4 etc. (Remember, he is checking behind 77-JJ on turn pretty often anyway so his turn betting range doesnt include so many river bluff catchers as you need.)

I like to underrep our hand from time to time against a reg here, for the rest I agree with Tim entirely.

just 3bet pre for value. hes short and you need to develop a value/bluff 3bet range vs regs in this spot. if you arent including AQs in your value 3bet range then well... you see how bad that is.

i really dont think its OK to ever flat here because what would you flat the SB with vs a 25bb open ? nothing is ever going to be good playing oop vs a 25bb stack. just 3bet 100% of your range incl bluffs and value hands.

Tim's last sentence sums up why I dont like the river donk, he checks back SD value on teh turn so he doesnt have a lot of bluff catchers in his range, while you line looks pretty bluffy i dont think he actually has a hand to call you with very often, so i would just c to induce.
