Because in the past, we set the wrong incentives.

It's more expencive cause you are able to earn more per member (right?..) but is that bad for you?

In new sistem it will be 575$
Whay ? because 15 points friends isnt there at all
i have only 1 with 2000 points
question are what will happened with my 14 points friends who join before 06.12.2011
or otherwise if I cannot receive money from 14 points friends will I receive from my 500 points and 2000 points friends? or nothing at all ?

All old friends will earn you money from the old system just like before.

The new tell a friend system will only apply to every referred friends who signed up as from today 06.11.11.

If you give us 10% from new refferals of our old refferals (only ONE depth ofc.), then we will have reason to tell them to promote you by themselves, so its still not that wrong. You can put there some limit so we wont get FIRST 10$ (thats 100$ they make), just please, try not to make us permanently lose chance to get any money from those our, FIRST refferals, who as I said, we often know personally.
I am probably crazy, but i kind of like the new TaF way better.. Why? I don't have to spend a lot of time doing silly useless promoting, answering many questions to people who are bad in English, helping them out with everything and than they bail on me when they get asked for their ID.
Also, the 15 points line could have been easily reached even without the 50$ starting capital (with the 7.7 $ given by Poker770, or 888, or PKR..)
Also, you would have gotten 10$ for anybody who joins as a must, even if they just traded their chips (lost them to you in Heads Up? with only a couple of bucks rake for the house)
Somebody mentioned the word greed, but the fact is, the old system was full of greed but from referrals side, not Poker Strategy, PS was more than generous.
Now you can actually bump on a really cool pro on the tables, chat a bit with him, ask him to join you and with a bit of luck he will say yes and he can generate 500 points easily, so that is an equivalent of 10 newbies you had to ask, please and explain everything..
Instead of being unsatisfied for not getting more money, you should THANK THEM and possibly kiss their feet (okay, that may be to much lol) because they gave you a chance to win proper money so far.
The only greed i see here is from you people complaining because you won't be getting ''money for nothing'' and those of you who won't be able to bully the loop wholes Poker Strategy had in their previous TaF promotions.

Yeah it's ridicules that they wont apply the 10% for all the old referrals... But they don't care, they wanna save as much money as they can. I guess the poker affiliate business is going bad and that's why we in the TaF affiliate business is getting slapped in the face 
I have already given a great idea on the Portuguese Forum here, like other poker schools PokerStrategy shoul make a Tell A Friend Race every month...
Because with this new system imagine that in a month you get 100 players and 20 of them get the $50 and all of them make 98 or 97 points and never reach the 100 points, but youi are still hepling PokerStrategy and not being pade to do that....
So I think that every month it should be made a Tell A Friend Race on each community based on the total number of points your referrals earned! By doing this top taffers won´t be impaired by this changes in the taf.

If they dont get more than 100 sp im sure pokerstrategy just would lose money.

Agree to darkprice here - the problem is that we really lose a lot of money if all your referrers are below 100 SP. 100 SP are $20-30 Gross Rake, from which we just get a fraction (as it's before bonus cost, rakeback, VIP systems, poker room operations, poker room profits etc.pp.).

Yep, we anonymised the usernames, except for first and last letter.
The reason is because most referred members have no connection to their referrers and do not even know they were referred.
They expect that their activity data is not public.
And now, we even added more data there: you will know when your referred member does Tell-A-Friend or buys a subscription - because you earn money on that.
In general, there's two possibilities anyways:
1. It's really a friend - then you know who it is anyways and can contact him.
2. It's not a friend / he doesn't know you - then, it's better if you don't contact him.
Ask yourself: would you really play more because a guy you don't know contacts you and tells you: "play more" in some way?

But since you never send them emails it's good if I can send a friend request a year or later so they get an email and remember about the site and maybe decides to give it a try
What about paying money to members for achieving statuses themselves?
Other than reading articles, there doesn't seem to be any reward for working hard on gathering points, that is probably why most of the successful TaF referrals are still and will remain to be bronze..
