I've been playing on-line poker for 9 months now and I've been a consistent player.
Every month I consistently deposit to my account because consistently I go busto ?(

2012 goal:

----> Earn $1
Meaning, earn $1 over all the deposits I've done for the year 2011. Any deposit done in 2012 will count into the 2011 bucket.

:club: Volume, put in the hours ! This is probably my biggest weakness. All the top players nowadays play outrageous amount of hands.

:diamond: Study more ! More hand reviewing, reading more poker and mindset books. Improve my German so I can watch more ps.de content.

 Move up in PLO and MTT's.

:spade: Have a more balanced lifestyle.

So, 2012...

Well, during 2011, I played my first larger live MTT, Unibet Riga Open.
I effectively ended on the bubble, one spot shy of bubbleboy, but I felt I was stronger than most of the field, and well able to avoid the few I knew to fear.

My goal for 2012 would be to play atleast two major live events, preferably a WPT or EPT to make it really awesome!

Results aren't to be considered, so I won't have the goal to be "cash in a major live event", but rather to play the best that I possibly can, and avoid major mistakes.

During Unibet Riga Open I believe I played well enough to feel that I have a reasonable chance of doing well if I can only break in to the circuit.

So yes, two major events, preferably one WPT or EPT and one Unibet Open event, or something along those lines, because the fields will be different.

And keep working on my MTT game online aswell, even if I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I did the live experience.

Oh, and I still dream to find employment with PokerStrategy.com, came close, but no cigar in 2011.

Regards,
Richard

I turn 21 in 22 of April 2012 so my primary goal in 2012 will be to qualify for WSOP Main Event and then go to Las Vegas and hopefully take home a part of the prizepool there!

I'v been to EPT Monte Carlo and a handful other livetournaments so WSOP isn't an impossible goal for 2012 but it is still a difficult goal to reach.

If I miss WSOP I have to qualify for the EPT season instead so I have a goal for the rest of the year until 21 Dec 2012 when we all will ble blown up...

If FTP pays back players, I will have a confortable roll for NL25.

So I want to improve my game, and crush NL25 @ Stars (it's obviously the hardest site to beat).

Well, since I don't have time to play much online poker and grind like crazy I guess 2012 for me will be a lot of live tournaments and luckboxing them.

My goals are to finish at least top 5 in 2 30$+ buy in tournament with more than 40 people and to maybe do one or two higher stake live tournament.

I will probably start playing the 180s in the summer when I have 2-3 months off and see how high I can get..

First of all, I am going to be a Black Member at Poker Strategy!
My purpose is to become a well-know live poker player and to get the WPT bracelet in Vegas! I am going to reach more and more finaltables at the Live poker series, and win as much money to give a part of it to charityfounds.
I want to live to poker!

I already have an iPad 2.

My goal for 2012 is to win another one _cool: _cool:

But in terms of poker, it's going to be to FINALLY cement myself at NL50, where i've never managed to stay for a decent amount of time other than when I was staked. After that I hope to quit my bar job and withdraw the amount I earn from there each month from my roll, i'll still have my other job but a semi-decent winrate at NL50 will earn me more hourly than my bar job does.

When i've got my grounds there i'll obviously be looking to improve my game greatly and also learn PLO more in-depth so I can start grinding PLO25 and print small change

I want my blog to hit 100k views as well :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:

I also hope to be able to have more fun at some point in the year than I will when I bring the New Year in, but that's gonna be pretty damn hard to do I imagine!

:club: Work the hardest on my mindset and motivation in the begining of 2012 because i feel like such a fish from this point of view. Stop making the calls i KNOW i shouldn't make, and stop getting 'satisfied' with my day when i make a good profit at the start of a session.
:club: Grind harder and actually put in at least 5K hands/week.
:club: Study actively and always take notes when watching videos, rewatch parts i didn't understand and post in the forums when i have questions (we shouldn't be ashamed to ask fishy questions right? The trolls will troll but one eventually gets his answer :f_love: )
:club: Make a detailed realistical plan for 2012 in Excel and track all my progress, find a way to reward and punish myself when I reach my goals/fail miserably.
:club: Beat NL4/5 for 35-40K hands in Jan-Feb and move up to NL10 in March-April.
:club: Take a break everytime after 1h+ of playing, except there's really lots of fish I have position on that are easy money; take a break whenever i feel slightly tilted; don't play while being tired, that almost always ends up in a losing session for me.
:spade: Beat NL10 then move up using 1 buy-in BRM until NLskyhigh and beat isildur for lots of $$$, buy the governments of the world and make a plan to stop the world ending in december 2012.

 And the most important thing, always think realistically but don't ever go pesimistic just because it's easier to give up. Never give up, never let down, never run around and desert myself!
