Hello everyone,
haven't been active here almost a year.Didn't thought it was so long ago,but when I checked my last activity in poker,reality said otherwise. Had no time for poker. Had different goals and plans in life. But hell I missed poker.
I'm hoping to get back to this wonderful game on daytime basis. Can't promise anything to myself, but sure hope to get back to it.

2012 poker goals:
1. Finish master studies to have more time and revive my poker career.
2. Ask poker gods to return my full tilt bankroll to play on another site.
3. Start grinding on low limits again, ring games and sit & go.
4. Win a big tournament online.
5. Win a live city tournament.
6. Start making money from poker not just break even.

My 2012 goal is to finaly stop spiting at monitor when i lose all in's preflop with AA...
Since I am studying a lot I will only have serious time for poker during the summer.
My plan is to gather as many friends as I can and get them started with PLO and make them sign up here with my TAF-link and earn as much money I can from that while I sharpen my own skills teaching them and getting myself ready for PLO100+
I have a few friends that seems to be interested in learning PLO but I'm still trying to find as many as I can.
Goals summer 2012:
1. Get more than 10 friends to coach
2. Get minimum avg $180/each from them with TAF (in ~4 months)
3. Grind PLO25-50 (and TAF) to get a 50bi BR at PLO100
4. Re-read all PLO articles and videos
5. Help spreading the word about poker and PokerStrategy.com
I've been struggling with a huge downswing for the whole year of 2011. I've done my best several times to try and analyze whether it's me or the variance that's keeping me from winning with a reasonable winrate, and every time I've come to the conclusion that it's the variance. Due to the fact that I've totally lost my interest to poker a few times because of the DS, I only played something like 200k hands this year. Managed to make it 8000bb under EV though.
So next year, I'm hoping my DS will end and hopefully turn into an opposite sort of swing.
If/When it does, I'm hoping I'll make enough profit from poker to have the luxury of having some spare-time after studying, since work+school combo would probably completely eat both my time and energy. And I really like my other hobbies, too 
As for how I'm planning to achieve my goal, I'll probably start by trying out a little project in SNGs. I really, really need a break from cash games and if I run good in SNGs/MTTs I might even switch to them completely.
I feel I deserve a couple big luckboxaments! ♦
Regular Goals
Become regular at 2-4 and 3-6 sh' fix limit, at least a winrate of 1/100 bb.
Rakeback Goals
Make 300 k vpp and be a triplenova, work 20 days and relax for 10 days.
Main Goal
Take a shot at mid stakes (5-T) at the end of the year.
MTT Goal
Win a at least 12 fix limit mtt' s.
Money Goal
Cash out at least 2.000 $ every month. And make 10.000 $ Bankroll. ( 5.000 $ right now)
Pokerstrategy Goal
Be a diamond member from end of this month
My plan is to win that much money so i can operate of my looos skin after my gastric bypass 
So i need to win about €5000 I did win one big low stake mtt this year with $5900 in first price so hopefully i will do something like that once more 
The plan is to play low stake mtt with a lot of people in field.

I would like to cash in a tournament for over $1000. I have hit $800 twice but never 1k. I would also like to build my bankroll to 10K from 1K where it is now.
My goal in 2012 is to make 20$ per day in the beginning of the year and by the end of 2012 to achieve 100$ a day. That is very achievable if i get my money from Fulltitl.
Another goal is to win a big tournament. The biggest prize i hit is 2200$. Unfortunately that was on Fulltilt.

For me 2011 wasn't so good so in 2012 I want to:
1. Balance University and Poker and do good at both.
2. Stop procrastinating.
3. Read more poker strategy.
4. Stop playing on tilt and not to tilt in general.
5. Move up from NL2 to NL50 (not sure how possible it is).
6. Stop looking at my cashier all the time.
7. Focus on the skill part and stop worrying about getting bad beats and bad runs.
8. Contribute more to forum (not spamming, but stop being lazy and write a long post if necessary rather than closing the thread).
9. Analyze hands after every session, post them to hand evaluation forum
10. Not to regret these goals at the last days of 2012 December.
In the end of next year want to feel that I am in the absolut world top in PLO 6-max and PLO hu.
My goals have changed so much in the last month it's not even funny anymore.
So guess my goals for next year have now become very simple.
Stop bleeding money
Focus more
Work on leak finding
And that's about all I can commit to given the current state of my poker abilities.
2012 goals:
-put in serious volume (no more "winners' tilt" where i quit after a couple good sets)
- move up to midstakes fulltime
- play more different kinds of SnGs (eventually transitioning to MTTs/MTTSNGS)
- play a WSOP event
1. It would be gr8 if I could win at least half the money from this year freerolls (15K$)
2. Ever since I started playing poker with friends some 6 years ago, it was our dream to play WSOP main event one day. Since it is way off my bankroll management I hope I'll find some good satellites with realistic chances and go to Vegas baby! ♠_cool:

I would like to start by wishing everyone a happy new year and the best of luck on the tables this year!
I have really just began taking poker a bit more seriously, and am new to PokerStrategy..com, but have learned so much in the past couple weeks since I registered, and am starting to see big improvements in my game.
That being said, there is always room for improvement. In 2012, I would like to achieve the following goals:
* Work on my patience.
One strategy I will use is to start developing my cash game, I love SNGs, but there are some important skills to learn at cash tables. With SNGs, especially turbos or hyper-turbos, it feels like there is a quick resolution. When I first started playing poker, my impatience really did get the best of me, and I played too many hands. While this can still occasionally be a problem, I have managed to hone this in significantly and am doing a much better job of sticking to the tight-aggressive strategy. I think cash games would be a good way of developing my patience, as, there isn't this clear beginning, middle, end situation that you get in cash games, and because blinds don't go up like in SNGs, patience is more likely to be rewarded.
Another strategy that might help is playing 2 screens at once. I do this sometimes anyway, and perhaps having action on two tables will be enough to deter me from betting on hands I shouldn't. I feel like, as an "experienced beginner" that 2 tables is enough to keep me occupied, but not so much that I just start playing my hands without considering position, the table, stack sizes, etc.
* Since my time for poker can be limited at times, I can sometimes put studying theory to the back burner, I need to stick to a strict relative ratio this year if I want to continue making gains
Like most people, when I first started playing poker, I spent no time on strategy, but have now made it a priority. I am currently playing about 5 hours for every 1 hour of theory, and I would like to bring that down to 2-3 hours for every 1 hour of theory
*Spend more time on PokerStrategy.com's forums, start posting hand evaluations
As a relatively new, and let's be honest, as a female player it's intimidating at times to call yourself a poker player and interact with much more experienced players. That is the reason that I really haven't taken to the forums much outside of the poker school. This has been something I wanted to do, however, and always said, maybe when I get a bit better and know what I am talking about. I am increasingly realizing that the PokerStrategy.com community is surprisingly supportive and encouraging of newbie members. The best way to get better to to talk to these more experienced players. I have a feeling once I bite the bullet I will feel silly for being so shy.
* Achieve and maintain gold status or better on PokerStrategy.com
Achieving silver status has been easy, however, have not reached gold and so will make this my goal for next year. Given where I am, it seems the most feasible for the following year. I should be able to achieve this by sticking to the amount I currently spend playing poker, but as my skill improves, my buy-ins should increase, which increases my strategy points, and hence brings me to gold status.
* Make notable gains on bankroll
The exact amount isn't important per se, but at the end of 2012, I would like to see that my efforts to stick to bankroll management strategies have paid off. In the past I was constantly losing my bankroll because I was buying in for as much as I could, because I was greedy. To me, higher buy ins meant more money and I wanted the big bucks. Now, I am better at reeling myself in, and I hope that at the end of 2012, I am able to have something to show for being less indulgent!
If I can stick to these goals, I know it will be a good year for me in poker.
