Omaha is a fucked up game.
I get it in with a suited AAxx and the worst equity! The most dominated hand of all had the best equity in this scenario:

BB: $3.18
UTG: $0.83
MP: $0.96
CO: $0.35
BTN: $2.00
Hero (SB): $2.11

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with A :spade: A :diamond: 6 :club: 9 :spade:
1 fold, MP raises to $0.06, CO raises to $0.21, BTN calls $0.21, Hero raises to $0.92, BB raises to $3.18 all in, MP calls $0.90 all in, CO calls $0.14 all in, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.19 all in

Flop: ($5.74) 8 :club: J :club: 3 :club: (4 players - 4 are all in)

Turn: ($5.74) K :diamond: (4 players - 4 are all in)

River: ($5.74) 7 :spade: (4 players - 4 are all in)

Final Pot: $5.74
BB shows 9 :diamond: T :spade: 7 :diamond: 5 :spade: (a straight, Seven to Jack)
MP shows T :club: Q :spade: 6  A :club: (a flush, Ace high)
CO mucks A  4 :diamond: 5  4 :spade:
Hero shows A :spade: A :diamond: 6 :club: 9 :spade: (a pair of Aces)
BB wins $2.19
MP wins $1.74
MP wins $1.53
(Rake: $0.28)

Spoiler

Final Pot: $5.94
BTN shows 6 :spade: 5 :spade: 7 :diamond: 6  (a straight, Five to Nine)
Hero mucks A  4 :spade: 4 :club: A :spade:
MP2 mucks Q :diamond: A :diamond: 8  3 :diamond:

BTN wins $0.53
BTN wins $1.88
BTN wins $3.24
(Rake: $0.29)

Shipping the money in way behind with a 1.5:1 SPR made me think. This flop doesn't connect at all but every single one of the 4 guys had a reason to call (ofc I had the worst equity), even both of the guys with onepair and no redraw blocking each others backdoorouts had way better equity than I had. Is there a number or any clue where I can say I just c/f my overpair here although there is absoultely no draw on the board, except for a very unlikely wrap?

Funny hand today

Running alot better now, I implemented some changes to my game. Lost a few bigger pots at the end of the session, but still better than what happened the days before.

Sidenote: Rake is something between 8-9BB/100.. which is pwetty sick. Considering that I'm shortstacking, people must be really bad :)

I knew the fold was bad the instance i mucked

3 golden rules of 100bb PLO microstakes I've learnt through experience:
- No one ever freerolls you. If you have the nuts without a redraw, just ship in 500bb deep and get called by the naked draw.
- While getting alot of 3bet/calls trying to outflop me when I was shortstacked, people now with 100bb just stick it in preflop with anypair higher than JJ no backup of course. It seems they are scared of shortstacks having AAxx :)
- If there are worse hands that might call/raise never fold the 2nd nuts!

The EV Gap is getting ridicilous.. but it's Omaha so whatever. But with my 15BB/100 in EV I wonder how swings are for those at the highstakes, that only have like 4-5BB/100 EV.

Haven't posted in a while for two reasons: Haven't played that much omaha, had to move down + went on to lose more and reinstalled my OS.

I will take a break from Omaha for a little while and come back to play 40BB stacks. 100BB+ is way to swingy for me and EV counts for nothing in this game.

I'm back playing the deepstacked Omaha games. Running decent atm. I've changed to a nitty 19/15 style, that works a little better for me.

First Session after the big break:

I'm still a little uncomfortable with the big pots oop, but we'll see.

Back playing some PLO 5, I switched to 50bb and play a few tables only. It seems I have a decent edge and I'll try grinding/moving up in PLO now. Slowly but steadily.

Some things that I can't grasp even by now:
- What's with the 50% donk range that fish have when limp/calling and quickly fullpot donking in HU pots? Adaption?
- Why are high vpip players (80%ish) that have little clue of the game sophisticated enough to play call flop, call turn, shove river in spots like AKTx on QT9x9 on a regular basis? Maybe I'm too transparent when 3barreling my KJxx,QQxx only there? Shouldn't I? Adaption is change to c/c rvr? Or bet/call if the frequency is too high?
- Call from the BB any4 in the first hand after sitting in and bluff c/r good flops seems to be standard too. I've noticed a couple of players doing that every time they sit in.

Hi man!! :P

Really feal sorry for ya b/c I see in every graph you run under EV.

I also took a shot at PLO10 and run 5BI under EV in just 1100hands ,but somehow still in black :)

Just keep grinding probably things will get around for ya :)

Would love to see a winning player who run above EV ,they probably don't exist :f_biggrin:

Used to bother me but now I don't look at graphs anymore, I think EV-graphs in PLO mean close to nothing on such a sample.

I'll be posting more hands less graphs :)

BB: $5.00
UTG: $6.27
MP: $11.70
Hero (CO): $3.07
BTN: $2.25
SB: $2.26

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with K :spade: 6 :club: T :spade: A :club:
1 fold, MP calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.22, 3 folds, MP calls $0.17

Flop: ($0.51) 5 :spade: 8 :spade: K :diamond: (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $0.41, MP calls $0.41

Turn: ($1.33) T  (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $1.10, MP calls $1.10

River: ($3.53) J :spade: (2 players)
MP bets $3.36, Hero calls $1.34 all in

Opponent is some random guy. I have 2 questions:
- With the SPR on the river it's a clear call, he can bluff off to cheaply or overvalue his T hi flush amirite?
- Should I try to avoid these spots by potcontrolling flop/turn or betting smaller, so I can have the option to fold rivers? Let's say I had the 3rd or 4th nutflush or the board bricked and I have the lonely top two and he jams half pot (hypothetically).
