Hi Tri!
I really like the way you are, confident, enthusiastic and emotionaly stable. For the moment I was thinking I share some of this charasteristics with you but after losing couple of small bankrolls (due to overagressiveness and not having brm) I begin to lose fate in my abbilities. Currently I'm busto. I don't want to give up playing poker but I think good break might really help me.
Im in new college and to pass exams I have to focus a bit on studying
Here are my questions:
1. I have limited funds (~150$ and in my situation it's a lot of money for me).You said earlier that playing below nl25 is not good. Do You find it sound to deposit that money and try to get a shot at nl25 on building bankroll?
2. What game would be better for me, nlhe 25 or plo 10? I think I can crush both but in omaha there are more fishes that might help me to build bankroll faster. On the other side of coin I am afraid that not properly bankroll
ed risk of being busted quick is much greater.
3. I feel like going crazy. After loosing my couple initial bankrolls I have started doing such silly things like watching every poker video on YT with Tony G or playing freerolls. At the moment I have to focus hard on studying if I want to pass my first exams in college. Im considering half year of poker break (no poker vids, articles, nothing connected) to get the balance right. Should I completely ban poker activities from my life or only this time-wasting like watching poker shows?
4. Do You think that starting oher intellectual activities can improve in big way my poker thinking? I'm thinking about other games like chess, backgammon, chinese poker and bridge. I don't now if the time invested-reward ratio is good enough
5. I am 19 years old and I think I have missed the best years to build bankroll reall quick (2003-2008, no training sites, no poker programs). It is unfair :P. Am I thinking right?
I have to add that at the moment I don't have much time and I don't now what is better: give myself break from poker or spend such little time playing as 0.5-1 hour daily.
Thanks in advance for your answers and sorry for mistakes, english is not my mother tongue, I hope You have undestanded me
