You're closer with Northumbria! I have a lot of friends studying there actually. But no, I meant Teesside, the place where dreams are made :f_biggrin:

No growth-hormones implanted, raised in normal enviroment (not in factory with no place to move) -> no antibiotics needed + it was fed w smth BIOish as well
The difference was noticeable but ofc it`s more expensive as well but it tastes better eetc.

I am looking for a place to stay for a day at:
1) Newcastle
2)Glasgow
3)Dundee
Maybe even Coventry and Edinburg

If you know somebody trustworthy from this cities or you are form any of these cities annd you have a couch to spare, please let me know. I would need it in March and prob. 19th March onwards.
If you jsut want a grab a drink let me know as well.

Few other UK related questions

a)Can I get some rail-card for a week that would save me some money? I heard of one for a year for 27 pounds. Hwo does that work?
b)Does trains have electricity sockets? Maybe even internet?
c) Where can I pre-order train tickets? I heard it`s cheaper if I book in advance? (weird system guys ... )
d) If I won`t get any free couch what would I possibly pay for a night in a hostel or smth?
e)Any tips on traveling in UK? Like not trusting this guy?

Spoiler

f) I deffo forgot smth as always so I will jsut ask it later when it pops to my head

If it was last year i could've offered you a place in Newcastle, but not anymore :(

a) Don't think you can get one for a week, the one fro the year saves you 1/3 of rail fees.

b) Some trains have electricity sockets, no internet up North though

c) The Train Line

d) Can book a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn online for <£30

e) Not many tips are needed really, but definitely don't trust that guy

Thnx a lot mate

So far I did some calculations and I will pay 90 + 30 for a rail card for traveling (better than 105 for one ticket when u jsut insert One station to the next (FE Northampton to Dundee) U gotta chop that travel down. I kidn of doubt that my trains will have electronic sockets as I always picked the cheapest tickets .. So I ould be freakin bored as my laptop battery has only 1 hour of life ...

Still no accomodation but I hope I can get a free couch at least in Dundee and Newcastle.

Q: Does tickets increase in prize daily or will the prize be roughly the same at the end of this month for 20th March onwards?

As far as I know, they increased all train tickets by 5% on the 1st of January this year, so i'd say it's veeery unlikely for them to go up again within 3 months. 6 months maybe, but I wouldn't say as soon as 3-4 months. Don't hold me to that though

I read on one student-savyy website that if u book in advance the prize is lower and I can confirm it cause when I compared prizes for today and for March they were 2.5x higher.

The ticket inspector will take one look at you, decide you have the wrong sort of ticket and chuck you off the train unless you pay extra. If I were you, I'd take the bus.
