I just realised some ambiguity in the calculations. If I miss an event, money for that event will be refunded. It will NOT result in a proportionate increase in action for other events.

FWIW to anyone who's asking for graphs/etc. I've played with Jackson live at APPT Melbourne and APPT Macau, a bit at Star Summer Series and frankly he's a boss. He punished Ivey at APPT Macau over multiple days, 4b jamming on him w air and getting the fold :P

If I had the roll and wasn't being staked myself then I would definitely throw money at this guy because he's a great shot to win tournies when he goes deep.

Not only freerolling for 25% of winnings, but also almost 100% of losses?

Because you take 30% mark from 23k = 7k
And you take 25% of 30k of your money=7.5k

So if your ROI is somewhere between -95% and +25% there's only profit 4 U????

example

You play for 23k MTT and are for 75% staked; bad luck; you got less then -50% ROI, only 10k over

Ai, but not for, you have won because
7k mark-up + 2.5k =9.5k>7.5k that you invested.

Is this fair?

well noone is making you stake him, it's your choice, as there are really terrible people out there, his roi long term is probably going to be 200% or even more

1.3 or 1.4 is the standard when a competent player is asking for staking for:

Aussie Millions ME
WSOP ME

Not the precise math but it's really standard. I believe at a 72/28 split this is equivalent to a 50/50 deal over 100 tournaments, if team pokerstrategy's maths are to be believed. Not really freerolling (assuming I sell off 75% of action) as I still have to pay for accommodation, food, MY TIME, etc. Apologies if you thought that poker was about getting stuff for free ;).

I would also agree 1.3 MU is kinda big. easy to find plenty of good regs offering 1.2 MU on 2p2..

BIG UPDATE!! Price updated to 1.2 markup!

This is a price I was hoping I wouldn't have to come down to, but due to a clear lack of interest I obviously have to do it. Will update OP as well as sold list AND list the prices people have already paid (you guys are obviously due a refund, roughly 1/13 of the price). This is definitely the lowest price I'm selling at, any lower and I'll degen it up on my own money! :P

In case it wasn't clear, everyone who paid at 1.3 is getting some money back such that it'd be no different to if they bought the action now.

Sorry if I sounded negative. I know that in poker you don't get stuff for free (although the SNG 1$ :P )
I didn't understand that mark-up principle untill now. And wanted to see if my conclusion was wright.
I also didn't want to lower your price(if i had anything to do with this, excuse me).

And nice to know that this is standard. Hoping to make it 1 day to your level so I can ask the same for my MTTs :P (probably never  )

And ship one of those side events. _biggrin:

received and updated, ty! I'm not asking for much, just simply to ship the Main. Can't be that hard, right??

Just refunded the change to everyone who paid at 1.3 :).
