Hello, my name is Gytis and I am from Lithuania. I just thought that I ll create blog on the pokerstrategy, so it will motivate me more to play 800 18man reg speed SNGs for 3.5$ on pokerstars. ( just because I dont have bankroll at all ) :-)

I am playing on pokerstars under the nickname : baisuoklis , but I still liked FTP ( my nicname : gytisv) much more, but we all know that happened. So mine main games there 9man reg speed SNGs, before FTP went down. I was doing really great in them for couple months before FTP went down I think I had like 20% roi for last 2k games at 10$ level.

So as I said mine main goal is going to be 800 SNGs and I ll try to improve mine mental game ( I think thats mine biggest weakness that I am tiltilng wayyyyy toooo muchhhhh ).

So what Am I going to post on this blog ?
I ll try to post mine daily results and I ll put some graphs every 100 games and maybe I ll post some interesting hands .

So thats it for now GL at the tables

So as I said I ll post some interesting hands:

Poker Stars $3.11+$0.39 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 6 players - View hand 1616886
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

CO: t4585 152.83 BBs
BTN: t1355 45.17 BBs
SB: t2640 88 BBs
BB: t1355 45.17 BBs
UTG: t1370 45.67 BBs
Hero (MP): t2195 73.17 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is MP with 4  4 :club:
1 fold, Hero raises to t90, 3 folds, BB calls t60

Flop: (t195) 4 :diamond: J :spade: 9 :spade: (2 players)
BB bets t300, Hero raises to t600, BB calls t300

Turn: (t1395) K :spade: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t1505 all in, BB calls t665 all in

River: (t2725) 7  (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: t2725
BB shows 5 :spade: 6 :spade: (a flush, King high)
Hero shows 4  4 :club: (three of a kind, Fours)
BB wins t2725

I think I played this hand badly on the flop Just because guy has stats 48/23 after 80 hands. I dont think that I just can call his donkbet, because of all draws and I think that I just had to push on the flop because he will call anyways. But at the same I was 2x raising on the flop, because I was ready to commit myself on the turn

So I played only 16 tables yesterday and I think I played it badly, but I still managed to earn some small profit:
16 games +11.20$ +20% Roi

So currently I Played :
46 games and I am with +130.18$ +80.86% ROI

Probably I ll give another update this evening and I ll post some graphs tommorow.

Any thoughts about this hand ? Guy is 20/5/0 after 134 hands and he loves to call preflop raises early.

Sveikas Gyti,

Same thing happened to me at FTP. I remember you there (FTP name: SSteel2), hard to miss good Lithuanian players. So I wish you luck at your grind and getting your bankroll up again.

P.S. 3,5$ Level at Stars should be too easy for you :)

GL with them. I had some problems with STTs than I started play on pokerstars just because of the different blind structure, but I got used to that and changed mine game a little bit. But still I liked FTPs blind structure more, because blinds there going up smoother and U could play more poker and its so strange on pokerstars its blind level 25/50 and U have 1.2k chips with 24bb, but the level goes and U find Yourself only with 12 BB in a minute, so I think there is much more push/fold on pokerstars and if we have to push more we have bigger variance :-)

So I thought I ll play more games for last couple days, but pokerstars restarted they servers and I couldnt do that. But I still managed to keep myself on the sick run and I thought that I can make into Sit and goes leaderboard, so I started to play only 4 tables at once ( instead of 6-8) and it worked really good and mine results after 96 games are :

+313.52$ +93.31% ROI

And currently I am standing at the first place in the battle of the planets mars level. I really hope that this results will hold :-)

So I ll post couple interesting hands against the same guy. He is a reg at this limit and I have 600 ( 23/8/12) hands against this guy at this stage of the game than this hand comes out :

Poker Stars $3.11+$0.39 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds - 5 players - View hand 1623165
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BB: t320 1.60 BBs
UTG: t3990 19.95 BBs
CO: t5397 26.98 BBs
Hero (BTN): t11097 55.48 BBs
SB: t6196 30.98 BBs

Pre Flop: (t300) Hero is BTN with T :spade: J :spade:
1 fold, CO raises to t400, Hero raises to t1200, 2 folds, CO calls t800

Flop: (t2700) 3  8 :spade: 8 :diamond: (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets t1620, CO calls t1620

Turn: (t5940) 2  (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets t8277 all in, CO calls t2577 all in

River: (t11094) 3 :diamond: (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: t11094
CO shows Q :diamond: Q  (two pair, Queens and Eights)
Hero shows T :spade: J :spade: (two pair, Eights and Threes)
CO wins t11094

Why did I play so agressive?
Because its one of the best scenarios. I am so big chipleader and we have one small stack with 1.6bb left, I knew that his raising and calling range is so narrow and he is risk averse against me 78%, but I thought that I ll make him fold ( because I am not sure that I was be doing at this spot). So I lost this hand and than we meet each other HUs and than this hand comes out:
Poker Stars $3.11+$0.39 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t300/t600 Blinds + t50 - 2 players - View hand 1623166
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BB: t20454 M = 20.45
Hero (BTN/SB): t6546 M = 6.55

Pre Flop: (t1000) Hero is BTN/SB with K :spade: K :diamond:
Hero raises to t1200, BB calls t600

Flop: (t2500) 8 :diamond: J :diamond: 5 :club: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t1250, BB raises to t19204 all in, Hero calls t4046 all in

Turn: (t13092) 2 :club: (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: (t13092) 6 :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: t13092
BB shows 2 :diamond: J  (two pair, Jacks and Deuces)
Hero shows K :spade: K :diamond: (a pair of Kings)
BB wins t13092

So I am like WTF is going on. I Just can say that I overestimated this guy and I am not going to make the same mistake with JTs against him anymore. If he can call with J2o OOP HUs with 10bb left, so I think it will be hard to bluff him at all.
